Student loans are barely going to last until the end of the academic year, and then it'll be a mess trying to relocate and look for a job after graduation.
I can't afford to get hormones and everything I'd need in order to have an honest shot at passing. I'm pretty much stuck living on £20 a week for food and staying sane, so until I get a job transitioning is a pipe dream.

Actually kind of a funny story, what I'm building was unlike anything that was available when I started dev.
That was exciting for me, and I wanted to also release it for free at the end of the project for people to use since it's going to be pretty useful and I can see a fair amount of people using it which would have been amazing.
Plus doing so would have probably got me a fair amount of exposure so the hope was that a company was impressed and offered me a job because not being homeless is pretty sweet.

Then about a month in to the start of the project, a company pretty much released their version of what I was planning on doing. So that's made things awkward and might hurt my final grade a bit but oh well.

What it is I'm not really sure I can talk about specifically but it's to do with food, since this is me we're talking about here after all. Maybe I'll post about it later if I'm stumped for beta testers, but for now I think I need to keep it a secret.
Knowing my luck there's probably a jerk in this thread who'd screencap this, and use it to out me and ruin my life if I gave out specifics and I don't want to take that risk.

I like it though even if it's a lot of effort. It's just about the only thing that's keeping me grounded at the moment.
