I just really don't enjoy actually training it.
I'll try to sing along to everything femininely but that's about. The rare times I recorded my voice it sounded kinda flamboyant to me.

I do sometimes get called ma'am over the phone with strangers even when I give my legal(male) name though so IDK maybe I get away with it.

Anyone here who's trained their voice have problems with vocal fatigue? I've been practicing for more than a year, and while my voice passes I can't talk for long periods before I start violently coughing because it feels like I'm swallowing rocks...

I have this problem all the time. I've been training my voice for over a year as well, and it passes well but it's extremely hard to keep it up at work. I do fine for like the first hour. Halfway through my shift it's so difficult to do it right. Lots of throat-clearing because my throat gets so congested for some reason. My neck gets insanely tense which causes my voice to raise abnormally high, which stresses me out and causes me to tense up and struggle more, vicious cycle ensues.

I don't know what to do about it. I hate how much I have to clear my throat, trying to discreetly do it so no one will hear is frustrating.

Just by regular throat clearing. You know, *ahem* as quiet as you possibly can manage. It doesn't work very well.

Usually the best solution is hot tea with a bit of almond milk. Not really an option at work so I just suffer trying in vain to clear my throat.

If I can get my neck to relax it's usually not so bad, but that's really hard to do.

This is going to sound weird but I trained my voice playing a lot of Call of Duty when I was younger and messing with my voice until I got my voice feminine enough so that I can switch between my real voice and feminine voice.
