Sup, it's Tuesday my dudes
Got a few questions first off, pic related
After years of describing it I never really bothered to look up/never knew the term demisexual. Turns out I am one no matter which way I look at it
Got a few questions first off
1.) Is it possible to be Demi/pan? Cause I feel that I am
2.) Is there a symbol yet for Demisexual? Seems like it's still being debated
3.) Is Demisexual truely considered being under the asexual umbrella?
4.) Looking for an active demi/pan/trans community any suggestions?
1. I consider myself pan because it seems to me that many bisexual people, in my experience, only want guys with dicks or girls with vaginas. I like pretty much any combination of neurological sex/physical sex I can think of. I would gladly sleep with intersex people as well even if they had bizarre genitalia. And pan is a fortunate label because it allows for wiggle room in case it's ever proven scientifically that non-binary people are onto something.
2. Tf, who cares? It'll probably happen organically and most flags/symbols have lost their creative beauty because they're being pumped out like a goddamn factory line.
3. Demisexuality doesn't even sound real. Like, yeah, I prefer to fuck people I've gotten to know. That's what we call taste.
4. Tumblr's probably got you covered.
Thanks for your reply I guess that gives me food for thought. Felt kinda wierd asking int he first place heh. Yeahh I'm no tumblrina but thanks for that last one haha

>Is it possible to be Demi/pan? Cause I feel that I am
No. "Demisexuality" means you don't want to fuck everyone you meet, which isn't really enough to consider it real (unlike hetero/homo/bi/asexual). And pansexuality is (well-meaning but inadvertantly) transphobic bisexuality.
>Is there a symbol yet for Demisexual? Seems like it's still being debated
Who cares? Making a flag about your sexual identity is cringe af, especially fake ones.
>Is Demisexual truely considered being under the asexual umbrella?
If demisexuality was a thing (see #1), it would by definition NOT be asexuality as asexuality is not being sexually attracted to anyone.
>Looking for an active demi/pan/trans community any suggestions?
No, and don't lump the trans movement with buzzword identities.

Pretty much every bi person I know is cool with trans people. It's a useless and laughable label that is offensive to many trans people by inadvertently saying they're not real men/women.
t. bi man with bi trans gf
thanks, yeah the more i'm reading up on it all the more it seems the more than 2 genders thing is HUGELY debated >.<

Yeah, people who identify as nb or "queer" can be better defined as androgynous/feminine/masculine men/women instead.
There is no real evidence of extra genders in history (hijra/kathoey/etc. seems to me to be more likely to be trans, but due to lack of treatment in the form of HRT became a "third gender" since non-trans people back then didn't understand it.)
I don't hate people who identify with nb gender identites, I just see it as people wanted to be more special than the next, which is childish and pointless (which explains why older people and generations past don't/didn't have people who were agender/non-binary)
