I think this is just what happens when you stay on T too long: it makes you sexualize everything, including your own self-identity.

Most adult transitioners get over it after they start hormones and eventually look back on their transformation fetishism as a sort of ad-hoc gender therapy which was the best tool they had available at the time.

Then there are the ones who miss it, and who go back on supplemental T after they get surgery because the thrill is just gone otherwise. Those ones are creepy and I don't trust them, but they're a tiny minority among their age bracket.
