I put girls' clothes in quotes because gendered clothing is a social construct.

Basically, gender dysphoria manifests as wanting to be, or feeling like you ARE, a girl. And hating the masculine aspects of your body. So that doesn't have much to do with clothing, I only wanted to wear women's clothing because that's what's normal for girls. So when I did come across the term "crossdresser", I knew immediately that wasn't what I was.
