a) it reduces your range a lot
b) it mostly deals with pitch, which is probably easiest to fix by training
c) you ll still need to train your voice afterwards

thing is, most people that get vfs get it because they lacked the discipline to train before, and the surgery wont give them the discipline to train after either :/
it can help you if youre genuinely motivated, go to a good surgeon, are careful with your recovery and then put in the work though.
It simply isnt an easy fix though
