I'm actually considering joining the Marines. I'm 18 years old, and I don't enjoy my life (I only tolerate it for the sake of my family). I don't know if I genuinely want to be a girl or if I just have some fetish. But I'm scared that if I wait too long to figure it out, I won't be a hon. I don't want attention, or to be a celebrity martyr. I want to not feel the way I feel anymore. Part of my issue is that I dont fucking know what I want. I am hoping that if I join the Marines, they'll set me straight (no pun intended), and put me on the right track. If I die, then cool cool, and if I live, hopefully I'd be passed my dysphoria.

Also, if I was jailed for exposing military secrets, I don't think my family would accept me anymore. My late grandfather was a Navy vet, my dad a patriot, and my brother a Marine reservist. If I went against the military, they wouldn't love me and that is not something I could handle.
