Haha, I actually got rejected by a recruiter in my hometown because I had a reputation (small town) for being a delinquent teenager. At least I have good grades, though, even from high school when I was on the bad kind of drugs. It's always funny when I get to apply some of my skillset during class activities. Since I'm a geog/environment major, we end up going on hikes and visiting landfills and going on long excursions in the mountains to survey soil and stuff. One time, we had a lockbox with some fancy electronic surveying equipment in it, but our professor forget the key to it on his desk. I always have paperclips and a multitool in my pack because I'm pathetically paranoid of getting locked out of my apartment by mistake, and the looks on their faces when I popped the lock with a little DIY paperclip rake and the flathead screwdriver on my Leatherman for a tension bar were just hilarious. It just makes me feel so serene, especially if I am experiencing it first hand. When I was a kid I lived in Sydney, I used to go to the beaches and look in all the rock pools. It was one of my favorite things to do :P I get a similar need met from aquascaping. There is beauty in life.
Bonsai are certainly a test of patience and discipline :P Good luck, don't fuck it up ;)
