The Picture of Dorian Gray was one of the first books I read a few years ago when I got big into reading literature, so I'm a bit biased. It's a very well written book and I think the essay in the middle of the book is really fantastic. Overall the book is a bit heavy handed in moralism and symbolism, but it's done with a lot of grace and I'm quite fond of it.

They're representing themselves, not the station, and are more focused on setting the tone and influencing the viewer's opinions rather than reporting the facts accurately.
