A lot of postal companies just let you deliver packages to various pickup points for free. UPS and Canada Post let you do that.

You’ll need 1 photo ID and a non-photo ID. The IDs must:

Acceptable forms of ID are:

I'd guess if you don't have anything on that list, you could register to vote and get a voter registration card. You seriously don't have any friends that could get it at their house? You don't even need to tell what it is, just say you don't want your parents knowing.

Also, move out if your parents are so noisy they're opening your mail.

I don't live in the states so I don't know how it works but I'd imagine it's similar to Canada Post's. They just generate a temporary postal code address and you use that as the address for delivery. When it comes in they send you an email with a barcode that you go to the post office and scan to pick up the package.
It's usually completely free.

So it looks like I order the package, and then have them intercept it. I think I can use this as a temporary thing but it seems weird, like why do post offices allow this if they make money off of PO boxes?

PO boxes are made for businesses predominantly.

Because most people don't want to do a package intercept on every single package, especially if they have a small business. It's a pain and costs like 13 dollars each time.

Only have a few friends I'd trust not to be nosy and the ones i trust are at colleges not near enough to me to justify driving there to get them
