Yeah. Dutch people in general are really tall.
On average Dutch women are 3.25 inches taller than North American women, and I have several nieces and aunts who are just as tall as I am, so even though the average height is still around 5'7", tall women aren't that uncommon here (I think the average might be dragged down by immigrants living here too).
Also, a good portion of men is taller than me too, so it's not hard to find a boyfriend who is taller than me.
