Alone for the holidays?

I just realised that he's most likely celebrating christmas with his gf.

Maybe I should stop feeling altogether.

I had enough xmas over the month with work. I just want to hide for a few days and be myself again, rather than a tired zombie working on four hours sleep a night.
I think I'm caught up on sleep. I got some biking in, sank today into a new game when I wasn't doing xmas dinner, and pigged out on chocolate. And kept people company on IRC who didn't have people around to do holiday stuff with.
It'd be easier to cope with if I wasn't single, but it's so much effort to meet people at all, let alone people who are single and interested and compatible.

Oh, I know I'm not alone. I just want to be on my own away from people for a while.
The only reasons I'm going to the family thingy tomorrow are to catch up with my sister, pet someone's dog, and that the drive there and back is pretty nice.

I'm just lonely because there's nobody really close. Mostly because of me being antisocial, and an asshole to people I don't get on with initially.

Yeah, that's pretty much what the holidays are about though right? Those times that everybody tries to tell you that are "so magical and special", when really its just another innocuous day with decorations, terrible fruitcakes, and presents. It'll all be over soon.

I didn't feel well during Christmas. I spent the 23th and 24th with my boyfriend. Great guy, but it's hard to deal with someone who gets angry at everything. My cue to leave his house was waking up and find him with his eyes wide open and scared as fuck after he spent the entire night reading about /x/-related stuff I'm into.
When I came back home, there wasn't much to eat so I bought some capocollo (cold cut made with pork), cheese, butter and bread, ate a sandwich and then spent the entire Christmas day sleeping without talking to anyone.

Family gathering day wasn't so bad. Back to work tomorrow, though, but I'm missing the NYE rush this year.
So, a few easy days this week, then another 3-day weekend.

Mostly, the issue is going to be NOT burying myself in Farming Simulator 17 after grabbing it in the Steam sale.
Oh, and my laptop is giving warning signs that it's going to die, so I'm starting putting money aside for a new one.
