So, I've been away from the internet for awhile. I've returned hoping that finding other "decent" or just "normal" nice gay men would be as easy to have a conversation with as it was back when I was still a teenager. I don't know what the fuck has happened while I've been gone, but I'm honestly disappointed in the very few connections I've made through random chat rooms, skype, websites, etc. I don't have Grindr or a webcam. So without those resources, is there any hope for me to make connections with some gay men who aren't always just looking for one night stands or hookups?
What are your hobbies? Why not make friends that way

I live in a very small town in Alabama. My hobbies don't have large followings in this area. Even if they did they probably wouldn't have many gays with the same interests.

I'm actually more of a homebody. Which I understand makes it more difficult to find people that way. Anyways. I like TV/Film, Games, Internet/Computers, and for outdoorsy stuff, when I find the right kind of person, Hiking, Biking, Camping, Generally getting fresh air.

I don't want to sign up for more annoying fucking websites that just want you to meet up with someone for the same shit that everybody wants on the internet.
> Match.com = Grindr + a commute.
I don't know anything about meetup.com I'll check that one out.
>Craigslist.org
What part about Alabama did you not understand? I'm not into getting my throat slashed by some random redneck.
>squirt.org
No thank you!
Couchsurfing.org I'll also check it out because I don't know shit about it.
Thanks for listing some options. I appreciate your time and effort anon.

I signed up for meetup.com. Thanks for that recommendation anon. I like the idea of meetup.com a lot. I was honestly just about to post my Skype name on a bunch of random sites and let the cards fall where they may. I decided against that. Seeing how I probably would've gotten trolled right off the internet for good.
