I don't like butch girls at all. I like women who give off a slightly masculine air but still appear feminine. I like women who are kind of intimidating but I love it when I can make them swoon. I like when people assume I'm the bottom but I'm really domming the shit out of her.

I like feminine girls who carry themself with class and dignity, have good hygiene, and are healthy. Beyond that I'm not picky, just someone who I click with and who makes me happy.

This is true for me. I love alt girls, punk girls, boho girls, hippie girls, but girl-next-door cookie cutter stuff doesn't excite me- I love when I get the sense that a girl does what makes her happy even if it's off beat, that she revels in freedom of expression, etc.

Of course personality tops all that. I like girls who are optimistic and have passion and goals! Quickest turn off is people who are judgemental or very reactionary. There was a girl in my class I thought was cute up until she started making fun of girls who diet/count calories as being shallow- let other people live their lives if they're not hurting you. I go for girls who are kind to others "behind their backs" so to speak.

Also sense of humor is important! Girls with a very dry wit or who crack up at their own jokes are the best.

I think you are less likely to find some sort of lesbian checklist the way you might find a checklist for a straight guy. I see straight dude checklists with shit as specific as an exact bra size- women don't fulfill fantasy expectations with their own bodies so they are less likely to expect it of others. I think lesbian tastes exist more in broad categories than "shoulder length strawberry blonde hair, 34C, must have at least 100 achievements in Steam for the following games."
