It's not a race issue, it is a class issue. Throughout history ghettos have always been a breeding ground for crime, disease/plagues, and ignorance. Our public education system offers very little and the lack of jobs coupled with a system designed to turn crime into a business results in a problem very few truly want to solve. There is a reason most modern mainstream music and entertainment (in America) glorifies crime and attaches it to a person's masculinity or overall worth.
