How many of you believe in reincarnation?

If i believed in reincarnation, I would have already splattered my brains.
i didn't, then i had an experience that changed my mind
In a previous life I believed in reincarnation, but now I'm not so sure.

Yes, when I was younger I enjoyed the idea that I could somehow identify my past lives. I guess it was just one more of the many ways I disassociated from my assigned identity.
Since then I've become partial to the idea that a person's past lives could be so plentiful and diverse that my appearance, my experiences, in this life are not intrinsically "me." That I won't exist forever in the afterlife under my current name and likeness.
I believe in reincarnation because while this life fucked me over some it could do better next time and I believe it deserves a second chance.

I don't know how souls work so I'm open to the possibility that they're recycled like all matter in the universe
Or maybe they disperse and are reformed into new soul patterns from the dust, like all the soul dust is gathered wherever and when they need a new soul the just give it a stir and scoop out a cup of soul dust like idk why are you asking me
