I super stress over shaving to where I think its a bad thing. What do you do to stay smooth?
The routine im just starting is Tuesdays hot shower, exfoliate with a mitt, shave legs with then against the grain, cold water to close pores, then moisturize after shower. Thursday repeat all steps but shave privates front and back, not legs.
Im fairly certain this is good and im just thinking too much about it. All I need is time for my skin to get used to it and not be irritated, as well as time to get better at it.
I dont need to be baby smooth the whole week, I have no significant other or anything to be smooth for. Just maybe take pics and to feel good about my body.

same, but i don't have a good solution so i just let body hair grow out and trim it in certain places
i have back of the neck and some upper back hair though and i obsessively shave that

That doesn't happen when I shave my face, but it does happen for my legs (I get "leg acne" when I shave my legs, no matter how gentle I am, so I stopped)
If anything, shaving my face reduces acne and similar shit
