cool. if you ever come here, my advice (or bias), avoid edinburgh unless you really really want to see famous architecture. there's no other reason to be there. tourist traps or not, it's overpriced and boring. glasgow is the better of the two cities. i have a soft spot for perth. stirling has more historical stuff. aberdeen is only if you're there for specific reasons eg a stopping point for the east cairngorms, or for family heritage. i don't know about dundee, i don't even know what goes on there desu i don't pay attention. inverness is obviously the gateway to the highlands, but is fairly empty as a city.
oh and the outer hebrides are BEAUTIFUL if you ever get the chance.
sure, skye looks more stunning in photos, but lewis and harris for me were a lot nicer a place to be.
