If you are getting blood tests then you don't need to guess at dosing. Start at 25mg, wait a couple weeks, test, adjust as necessary. Cypro is a hell of a drug and does significantly more than just suppressing testosterone. Your goal should be to minimize how much you take while staying within female reference ranges.
You should never need 100mg+ a day. The men who take that for cancer reasons do it with the knowledge that they are going scorched earth and likely to damage multiple organs as the cost of holding off aggressive cancers.

As to blood tests. The ideal situation is:
Blood test before you start pills, to know what your base levels are.
Blood test after a month of pills to know if they're working as expected.
Blood tests every 1-3 months for the first couple of years. More frequent when you're early on and changing things, less frequent as time goes on.
The goal with testosterone is to be in female ranges. I have some friends who got there on 12mg cypro. I was on 25mg and at the bottom end of female ranges, my dosing seeming a bit more effective than 200mg a day of spiro had been.

Oh, and invest in a pill cutter. Should be a couple bucks and it will allow you to break up your 50mg pills easily.
