PSA: I've seen it more and more often.
People using andro when they are to lazy to write androgynous. You might ask yourself
>what is the problem?
When you look at how androgynous as a word originated you find two parts.
andro- = man
gyno- = woman
If you call someone andro short for androgynous, you say he is male.
