vfs will change the pitch of your voice, but pitch is just one aspect of vocal passing and if anything the least significant one
the trans girls you hear who have stealth voices post-vfs with no training had 'gay accents' before (a lot of csts/hsts girls have the 'gay accent' naturally, c.f. michelle hendley before she trained her voice)
