is ffs free in uk?

This is a blue board which means that it's for everybody (Safe For Work content only). If you see any adult content, please report it.

cause someone just told me it's covered by nhs as well as hair removal is and I'm not sure whether I should believe it

It is in glorious Soviet Scotland

Serriosly fuck time to move.

In england:
FFS - Nope, not at all
Laser - in theory, you have to see the GIC first and talk them into sorting funding and it takes ages, by this point you'll probably have completed it by yourself anyway

Scotland
FFS - yep
Laser - yep

Local if its like health insurance here.
>>
so apparently there is something like
Adult Exceptional Aesthetic Referral Protocol for ffs in scotland

any info on that?
>>
>FFS is more essential to transition than SRS
>It's never covered
>SRS surgeons that accept insurance are typically hacks

I really wish insurance companies offered the option to choose facial/body procedures OR SRS. I plan on going to Thiland anyway so insurance that covers SRS is useless unless ibwant to be on a 3 year waitlist for Bowers. Also my insurance considers the creation of a clit hood to be cosmetic. Aetna you troll you

What? Really, Scotland offers FFS?

Do they send the patients to other countries, or do they have properly educated FFS surgeons in scotland?

Just came from a consultation, gender dudes are sending a recommendation to my gp within a couple weeks now for hrt. Gender dude seemed to imply you pay for ffs, Hair removal also isn't entirely covered by nhs, he said that they will fund 8-10 blocks of it and if you want to continue you have to pay. I assume by blocks he just means individual sessions. Luckily I'm getting everything covered for me but yeah some is free
>>
The person who told me that claims that this is what their doctor told them, and doesn't know the details either

The entire deal sounds a bit too good to be true....
