You may as well be consistent.

Sometimes I think /lgbt/'s tgirls are 99% just autogynephiliacs in denial. Just look at OP's image.
>>
>>7148112
the majority of trans girls on /lgbt/ have agp as their dysphoria etiology
they're on fucking 4chan, there aren't many girls here and half the boards are dedicated to anime porn, why would they be anything else?
the ratio of csts to agp for mtfs here is about the same as the ratio of femanons to guys on most boards
but that doesn't make them not trans
>>
Beginning Self-med here.
I hear I need to start anti-androgens for a while before beginning oestrogen, is that true? If so, for how long?
And with upping the intake over time, are we talking over like a few months or a year?

I have read the links in OP but unless I'm severely retarded, I can't see the answers in there

>AGP as dysphoria etiology
That's news to me. I have mild AGP too, never thought of it as dysphoria, as I'm just fine with my body and doubt I'd be happier throughout *daily life* with a female body.

>csts
What's that?

>doesn't make them not trans
The whole "trans" umbrella is a clusterfuck anyway. Well, it's like "intersex" I guess, where it's very unclear which fringe DSDs do and don't make you intersex. E.g. I have subcoronal hypoplasias. Nobody would ever think I'm not simply male, but technically it's a DSD so technically I could be considered intersex. Technically.

Shit's confusing.
MtF aren't female/girls/women either way though.
How would someone get on Finasteride the official route? Is that something a dermatologist would do or your doctor?
>>
>>7148646
You could probably go to your doctor and tell them you're concerned about hair loss and ask if there are options and suggest finasteride if they have no idea.
>>
>>7148167
What is cst? I get that it means "trutrans" in this context but what does it stand for.
>>
>>7149375
I'm guessing that they made a typo when writing hsts, which means "homosexual transexual".

Hm, so what is the "dysphoria etiology" of a "classic transsexual"? I feel like this is not as much of a binary distinction as they believe.

I have a question, I heard bicalutamide lets you keep your fertility, but I've also been taking progynova, would the progy be enough to make me sterile?
>>
Are estrogen injections really better? I fucking hate needles...
>>
>>7150317
I'm guessing no since bica doesn't cause infertility on it's own, and it causes higher levels of oestrogen in the body anyway as a secondary effect of it's mechanism, and since progy is metabolised directly into oestrogen the higher oestrogen levels in the body shouldn't lead to infertility
>>

>>
Where is everybody getting bica these days? I'm assuming not from a doctor, because good luck even getting fucking cypro from a doctor. It's so damn expensive everywhere I've looked.
>>
>>7149594
i don't think it's a binary, i don't even think those are the only two groups (i can also clearly define a 'homosexual transsexual' in a different sense to how blanchard used the word, and can vaguely perceive an 'auto*phobic' category as a sort of variant on a*p but don't have enough evidence to conclude it exists, and think of the categories as somewhat more of a spectrum than discrete groupings)
the definite cause of csts dysphoria can't really be pinned down because for most it onsets so young, and even the variant csts group who it kicks in later for still experience it very young
it probably has something to do with neurological sex, which the best evidence for exists in the research groups that are mostly coterminous with csts (most research groups are really blanchard-inspired two-type stuff so it's hard to draw really solid conclusions once you realize there are multiple)
>>
>>7151053
It wasn't from the blood loss, it was from the needles themselves. Spent about twenty minutes hyperventilating after my bloodwork. I'm such a pansy it's not even funny

Once and for all:
Is there any benefit in taking Progynova (Estradiol valerate) sublingual?
I've read that some people got higher E levels that way, because at least some of the Estradiol gets absorbed before passing the liver, but on the other hand i've heard that it has to pass through the liver first in order to work.
As long as it doesn't do any damage, should i try and waste my time by taking it sublingually?

I'm planning to order some bica and proginova from assetchemist. But I'm a bit confused as to how to start since I heard that for tge first month one should only take the AA. Is that really important? And what would be good dosages for a femboy look?

Is spiro really that terrible?

Cypro vs Spiro?

I'm poor and would rather go with the cheaper option but if spiro is significantly worse than cypro or will give me cone tits or something I'll pay the extra.
>>
>>7157353
spiro: might have some negative impact on breast formation (but does not appear to cause true conetits, which most of the people on this board don't have even when they think they do), mildly screws with potassium
cypro: has some positive impact on breast formation (which can be reproduced without the side effects by adding progesterone), can cause neuropsychological sequelae and hepatotoxicity (can be fatal)
i recommend spiro but both kind of suck, your best bet is to remove testosterone production entirely (orchi or srs) as soon as you can viably access surgery
>>

>>
>>7158073
I used spiro first, but i got hyperkalemia, so i switched to cypro and i feel like it's working way better anyways.

So i would recommend cypro, but i wouldn't waste my money on androcur, because it's the same as the regular cypro just more expensive. I dunno why they offer both.

pls at least read the wiki page of any med you consider taking or don't understand what it does.

Hi, /lgbt/, first time here, don't bully.

Is it possible to self-med in Europe? I've heard about online pharmacies, which can write prescriptions themselves. I'd also like to know if there are any polfags lurking here, I'm curious about legal issues when importing medications to Poland.

How to self-med on South-America?
>>
>>7160600
I hope getting a head start on the feminine fat distribution that you would get anyway is worth the permanent skeletal masculinisation from waiting to start HRT.

Why do people do this?
>>
>>7164803
Explain how you feel and sound like you know what you want and understand the risks. That's what makes it "informed consent". Buzzwords aren't necessary, but knowing the effects of the drugs and basic terminology like "dysphoria" and what not is important (though probably still not strictly necessary.

Informed consent isn't a gatekeeping-based service. They're not judging whether you're trans, just whether you're capable of taking the treatment and not suing them or killing yourself with it or something.

So, I'm pre HRT, hopefully I'll get on it sometime this year.

I've been looking into herbal stuff/supplements, and have unanimously concluded that they are either bullshit, unsafe, or would be more expensive than HRT.

I did stumble on Spearmint Tea though. It's apparently very effective as an anti androgen of a sort to reduce levels of testosterone in the blood stream, but not overall levels apparently. It's also very good for clearing acne apparently.

Has anyone used this before? I wouldn't expect a miracle, I have no delusions about it having more than a tiny effect. If it reduces body hair growth rates by a tiny bit, and improves my skin I would consider it a victory.
>>
>>7167334
I did not use it for an extended period of time, so I don't know the long-term effects, sorry. I would not consider it worth the money, based on what I have seen and read.
Eating less/no red meat is probably a good thing to start with if you want to reduce blood testosterone levels.

Future endocrinologist here. I won't provide medical advice on the interwebs, but I'm actually pretty impressed with the work you girls do, I've got to say. Hoping to do hormones professionally as part of my practice eventually, and I've actually recorded a lot of your tips and tricks to possibly add to my practice someday, since there isn't a whole lot of stuff out there for a doctor like myself to learn from and what little there is tends to be very conservative. Might even try to do some research studies down the line to create better protocols. /HRTGen/ might very well be helping more people than you realize, keep up the good work.
>>
>>7172064
Morning and night works just fine depending on your dosage. Typically its 100mg spiro / 2mg estrogen in the morning, then again the same dosage at night.
>>
>>7168410
If you're looking for something just to eat and voila you become a girl then herbs won't do that. However, if you want a decent 5-AR inhibitor you should look at red reishi mushroom rather than saw palmetto. Saw Palmetto has been largely disproven to inhibit 5-AR or help BPH. Red reishi is a really good nootropic but it also inhibits 5-AR a bit, but it's not quite equivalent to pharmaceuticals unless you eat a ton, but it's actually fairly potent in mice studies.
You can also buy standardized extracts of coumestrol and soy isoflavones if you want a huge dose of phytoestrogens to see the effect. Though it would probably cost a lot and take like a year and wouldn't quite be like normal HRT. Pueraria mirifica really doesn't have that much phytoestrogen in it and I've heard like 90% of products on the market aren't even PM anyway.

But phytoestrogens aren't estrogen. They're endocrine disrupters. They exert most of their effects on steroidogenesis in your body. They can't outright replace estrogen in the body. But they could probably chemically castrate you over a long time. But at 20 years old I would say don't bother. If you're like 14 phyto's would be pretty effective at staving off male puberty though.
A lot of the concern about phytoestrogen is that they mess around with your steroid enzymes and they have very high binding affinity for estrogen receptors (they do different things at those receptors though). It's hypothesized that the rise in phytoestrogen consumption might be to blame for dropping sperm counts worldwide.

I'd say at best with phyto's what you would achieve is possibly testicular atrophy and a bit of gyno if you took a consistently high dose, from a good supplier that actually standardizes their product so you know for sure you're actually getting them in your body every day, and you took it for like many years.

Can you not get a part-time job at all? HRT isn't hugely expensive so that can cover it if you don't need to spend much on anything else. Tutoring pretty much counts as a job anyway.

I'd value getting on HRT early very highly as far as deciding what counts as a bad financial decision. Student loans are low interest and may be an option, depending on what you're doing and how much excess you can get.

I keep hearing this shit about how being on a caloric deficit (burning more calories than you consume, for example eating 2000 calories in a day but burning 2500) permanently impedes breast development. "Permanently" being the key word.

Is there any truth to this AND is there a point when you can safely lose weight without doing permanent damage?

I really don't want to gain much more weight, I'm already 200lbs. I had plans to lose a ton over the next 6 months but I'm beginning HRT next week and don't want to fuck over breast development.

Obviously breasts are fat and losing weight will make them smaller, but I assume this is referring to development of the buds right?

I'm really stressing over this and could appreciate an answer because /mtfg/ seems incapable of providing one.
>>
>>7178484
I've done a heavy caloric deficit for 3-4 months, and so far they have grown back slightly larger than they were before losing my weight. I can't say what 6 months would do, but if you are really worried then maybe starting HRT after your weight goals are achieved might calm you down. Dieted down from 130 to 105 to get rid of gross boy muscle and oh was I a skeleton
>>
>>7178484
If it's any consolation, I went from about 163lbs to 147lb over the course of the first 4 months of HRT and I was on low dose (100mg spiro, 1.5mg estradiol). My grandparents are rather flat, my sister is a 30A and my mom isn't that big either despite being overweight. The results? I definitely can't wear a t-shirt anymore without getting looks. My mtf friend thinks I have nearly B cups. They're cone as fuck for B cups but that's to be expected. I'd call bullshit on just a casual calorific deficit.

If you're going to go on starvation mode you're definitely going to fuck yourself because your body doesn't have enough energy to do what it needs to do.

Just fucking do it, Anon.
>>
>>7178524
>if you are really worried then maybe starting HRT after your weight goals are achieved might calm you down
This was the plan until I hit a sever wave of depression and begun having genuine suicidal thoughts, that's never happened before and it's scaring the shit out of me. I need to put an end to this now.

I'm 200lbs but like 6'3 so it's not like I'm overweight. Just I will be if I gain anymore. My plan was to lose weight until I'm like really skeletal, like around 130. Start HRT. Then slowly work my way up to like 150-160.

But if I'm going to be starting HRT now, I'm not sure if that's a good idea anymore. I'd still like to be a lot thinner than I am now, but I really don't want to do anything that hurts breast development in a permanent way.

Having decent sized breasts are like, an integral part of making my dysphoria go away.

>I'd still like to be a lot thinner than I am now, but I really don't want to do anything that hurts breast development in a permanent way.
The delay on starting HRT will have the same or greater effect on breast growth as losing weight while on HRT. At the very least you can just maintain the same weight.

It's never worth waiting to start HRT to lose weight.

Is it even possible to convince me these people aren't the worst and give every trans person a bad name?
>We Asked Trans People Who Aren’t Medically Transitioning What They Want People To Know
https://www.buzzfeed.com/skarlan/still-valid?utm_term=.rewGBg5VK#.px7q4mDMx

The only reason I can think of not doing it is if you already pass as comfortably as you could already. But inevitably, that would become a lost cause and you should have done it and now the damage is done. I'm not just ranting about MTF's. I've met some FTMs who best case scenario if they ever stop being faggots and take their medicine will just become a doughy men who dress and act like 15 year old boys and have huge overweight middle-aged woman asses.

Yes, their "identity is valid" and I'll use he/she/they but if no one can tell (ftm) or you just look like a transvestite into it for the sexual kicks instead of a a transgender (mtf) then no one is going to "get" what you're going for.

I read a story of a young MTF who just passed without it because of some kind of bone, growth and hormonal condition but she was an exceptional case. Why the fuck wouldn't you?

I was surrounded by these types at my support group but I could never understand why. They could give me bullshit reasons but I just don't understand why you wouldn't be all over being less dysphoric and have people instinctively treat you like the right gender without wanting to laugh at you.

I'm 5 months in and you couldn't pry my hrt from my cold, dead tranny hands.

How much shrinkedge should I expect if I were to take Pueraria Mirifica?
Like if I got a 7" dick & dont really feel like parting with that quite yet; would there be any other way to redistribute fat and not loose penis size? Don't care for my nuts, they could fall off for all I care, but still like using my dick.
>>
>>7185768
Your penis never shrinks. It can only temporarily lose elasticity. It's not a muscle though, it's vascular tissue. It might appear smaller after long stretches of impotency but it will bounce right back if you have erections again since the tissue will quickly stretch back to normal.

But as I said though, phytoestrogens are just endocrine disrupters. They don't behave like HRT does. I'd say most of their effects aren't even on estrogen receptors, it's on your enzymes. Especially stuff like 5-alpha-reductase and 17B-HSD.
If they are going to do anything at all it's not going to happen any time soon, and it might be unpredictable.
Sure people take herbs and get "tits" but it's really just gyno because of the enzyme inhibition creating a pseudo-castration like effect. There's only a few documented cases in medical journals of this and guys were consuming like 200-300mg/day of isoflavones for like a year straight (which is a fuckton of soy). Then they got a bit of gyno and sexual dysfunction and it all went away when they stopped eating soy.
There are also quite a few documented cases of soy use pre-puberty and during puberty, especially when your body weight is low and they exert quite a dramatic effect on sexual development. In adults, not so much.

If you want to transition then don't bother with herbs unless you want the health benefits of them perhaps.

Not directly. A 5-AR inhibitor like finasteride would be better.
But before anti androgens became commonplace in mtf treatments they only prescribed high levels of estradiol and inevitably it caused testicular atrophy enough to be equivalent to antiandrogens.
So yeah estradiol will, but a 5-AR inhibitor will do it better, and a normal antiandrogen will be the next best.

Femboy here...
Why the raloxifine?
Why the tamoxifine?
If you're on estrogen instead of bicalutamide, won't you get tits no matter what else you take?
>>
>>7206243
It's crazy how some people are so sensitive to fina whereas others aren't. Like guys taking it for MPB have basically castrated themselves in a month whereas others take it for years with no effects.
>>
>>7207503
Raloxifine is a selective oestrogen receptor modulator (SERM), which in this case basically means it has the effects of oestrogen without making you grow tits. You do not take this in lieu of bicalutamide; you take both. You always take an antiandrogen (bicalutamide in this case) if you're taking an oestrogen, otherwise it won't work except in extremely high doses.

I don't know what tamoxifene is but from the name I assume it's another SERM.
>>
I've been self medding with Spiro for a year and a half. I'm going to get a doctor to prescribe me something better thru informed consent but I'm not certain what I should say to him to make sure I get the best anti androgen I can. I'm looking for something like cypro or bica right? What's the best estrogen?
>>
>>7207585
If you're sure you want to transition fully then Cypro is your best bet, if you want to keep your penis functioning in case you change your mind or are a femboy you'll want bica. If you're in the US getting cypro will be very hard since it's not FDA approved, although if you're lucky and talk it over with your endo they might be able to let you get it through a canadian pharmacy. Getting bica will be easier but still potentially difficult since it's not as established, and honestly unless you really hate spiro's side effects or are worried about breast development not going well staying on it is fine. As for estrogen just get whatever is most convinient, it's all pretty much the same stuff besides how you take it.

>>
>>7214854
It's okay to take them whenever so long as it's consistent. Cyproterone acetate and oestrogen injections have a long half-lives so the levels will remain relatively constant. Spironolactone and oestrogen tablets have shorter half-lives, so levels will fluctuate a lot more (which is why you foten split the doses for those).
>>
>>7216571
It's an analogy since the concept of male and female doesn't apply to cells. Even if they contain Y chromosomes the cells are exactly the same as they would be otherwise, and they're acting like the cells in females due to having female sex hormone levels interact with the receptors. It makes sense to put it like that even if it's not strictly accurate.

Okay!

So for about a year and a half now I've been taking 200mg spiro with 4mg of estrogen. How much bica is equivalent? I'm sure it's probably somewhere in the OP but I like having stuff confirmed.

In addition I stopped taking hrt for about 2 weeks now, can I just jump onto the bica or do I need to ease into it again?

What is the absolute FASTEST place to purchase this? I only ever let myself run out of 'mones because I thought I'd fill out informed consent forms in a a week or two and be on my way. Now I'm waiting 3 months.

Should I just buy spiro instead and wait for the doctors to give me bica? I am more familiar with it, but it makes me feel so lethargic.

Assistance please.
>>
>>7146587
So i didn't started hrt yet.

I have to take the Anti-Androgen every day, right?

My friend works in a pharmacy so he can sell me Cypro, it costs $16,98 for 20 pills. I can't ship it so it's my only option.
>>
>>7230877
I had the same problem here, I just settled for spiro and it works perfectly for me anyway.

Sounds like an okay price.
>>
has anyone considered buying bulk from china?
>>
>>7231424

APIs? How could you possibly consume it all before it expires? You wouldn't want to toss the expired shit right down the drain.
>>
>>7230877
Thats a pretty decent price for Cypro, assuming its 50mg pills.
>>
>>7231462
Well, tbf the price for smallish quantities is very attractive even with the expected wastage. And don't worry I've got access to much better and fun ways of disposing of things.
>>
>>7231424
You need a license to import bulk pharmaceuticals and chemicals. When you order they have to ship all the drug identifier information and your establishment license that lets them know what you're using the chemicals for.
>>
The guide says to split estrogen, should I really split these little 2mg progy pills? Seems easier to just take the whole thing in the morning and start splitting after a month when I bump to 4mg.

Is that really important to do?
>>

Get back on spiro until your situation is fixed. Its not like you have to buy it in bulk or something.

>the definite cause of csts dysphoria can't really be pinned down because for most it onsets so young, and even the variant csts group who it kicks in later for still experience it very young

I'm VERY interested in this subject.

I'm told I'm hsts. I'm not AGP. I'm a legit bisexual in the middle of the Kinsey scale.

My narrative starts pretty late. The first ideations started at 10 years but went away quickly. Up until I was 19 I just was a somehow feminine boy.

Then at 19 suddenly dysphoria hit hard. Wanted to be a woman, to have the life of a woman, to have female friends and to be like any other girl of my age.

Men turn me on much more easily than women (although I find that there are more pretty girls than pretty boys). Indeed, the simple sight of a cock is good to me, while the sight of a pussy is as sexy to me as the sight of a rock in the desert. I can't stand lesbian porn, gay porn is somehow ok, but bi porn is the best of the best.

My narrative would be akin to that of a csts/hsts (just bi instead of homo). But my onset was SO LATE, like in the end of my teens, that I don't know "WTF I AM".

Do you have more info about the subject? it's important to me. I'm so confused!!

Sometimes I even doubt if I should continue transitioning because "I don't fit the trans bill".
>>
>>7235775

Well she's been on hormones for 1,5 years now and we've been together for over a year. No sign of libido increasing. She has already halved her cypro dose for 3 weeks now (doctor's orders), still nothing.

I don't want to be an asshole here. She understands the situation and has even given me a "hall pass" for sex because she feels sorry. I would never cheat on her tho.
>>
what's the best way to discreetly order hormones without a po box? asking for a friend
>>

>>

Depends on the postal service.
If UPS you sign up for an account on their website and once a package is shipped login to your account and set it so the package is delivered to a pickup location.
If Canada post you can use their flexdelivery service to create a temporary PO Box for free and it will be delivered to any canada post store which is usually any shoppers drug mart.
If Fedex or DHL I believe they have the same options as UPS.

I'm not sure about USPS, purolator, etc.

Not that guy, but thanks for the advice!
>>
>>7236568
if you're dysphoric, i strongly recommend transition
the variant csts group is significant to me because it's what i'm in -- i was gnc from early childhood, treated almost as both male and female at school (bullied for being boyish for a girl and girly for a boy, i couldn't win), i knew when i came out that nobody would be surprised. but it was very subtle before late childhood -- i was the most feminine of my (admittedly tomboy) friend group in early primary school. my personality changed completely between the ages of 6 and 11. i also became much more severely autistic during that timeframe, which was likely a side effect of it (autism and ftm transsexualism are both caused by elevated prenatal testosterone during neurogenesis).
19 is late for v-csts, though. are you neuroatypical in some way (autism, 'schizophrenia', etc)? i'm pretty sure v-csts and neuroatypicality are inherently linked, but my sample size for that is tiny. your narrative is incredibly interesting and i'm glad to have heard it.

>>
>>7146587
Okay so I'll start cypro and progynova soon.
It got shipped today so I suppose it's here in about two weeks.
How to dose?
From what I've heard the first month i should take 50mg cypro a day and 4mg progynova after one week. After the first month i can reduce cypro to 25mg and up progynova to 6mg.
But how to dose over the day? 25mg cypro after the breakfast and 25 after evening food? Same for progynova NB just with 2mg after dinner the second month?
>>
>>7242785
Has there been no change at all? I'd expect it to take a while at least.

How long were you on cypro for? It causes permanent testicular damage with long-term usage.
>>
>>7245200
Cypro has a long half-life (several days) so splitting the dose wouldn't help at all and is unnecessary. I'm not sure you should reduce the dose that soon, especially if you're self-medding and you don't know your testosterone levels. The long-term reduction in testicular function that allows you to decrease you dose won't happen much in that short a timeframe.

The oestrogen tablets have a shorter half-life so it's beneficial to split the dose.
>>
>>7245243

I'm transitioning already, anon.

It looks like this convo isn't welcome in this thread. Shall we start a thread or get in contact?

I'd love to give you more details about my narrative and listen to your thoughts on it. My narrative is is confusing and strange as hell.

Also, anatomical hormonal markers show evident signs of feminization/hypomasculinization, and even more strange: my growth stopped at 16 y.o. and left me with a short stature and childface that are ideal for transitioning lol, but that's definitely not normal for a male body, which stops growing in the 20-25 range... Indeed, I pass as a cis girl just by putting a wig... and there are even stranger details... I think there was definitely some hormonal issue going on.

I know of only another case very simmilar to mine, she just happens to be 100% androphile instead of 100% bi. She's also pretty confused, and considers herself as androgyne, although she's transitioned.

Also, you look like you know your stuff... "neuroatypicality"? That's porn for psychologists hahaha...

And I happen to be a psychologist. Lol

That's why my interest is double. First because I recognize I'm a weird case that doesn't fit in any typology, second because it's my field of study hahaha.

My interest on discovering "what I am" is huge.

So... let's continue this conversation elsewhere?

I've got a throwaway mail, you can get in contact with me through it, and I'll derive you to my social networks (just to provide some safety for me, since this is 4chan after all).

We could have veeery interesting conversations.

Forgot to answer this...

>>are you neuroatypical in some way (autism, 'schizophrenia', etc)?

Ive suffered from OCD (already healed long ago), but besides that, nothing strange.

But there are very strange details between both my sisters regarding sexual orientation and gender roles, and all of them point towards hormonal imbalances, so I guess it's an issue that runs in the family.

But that's a very private matter and I'd tell only in another place.

Couple questions from someone who might want to transition sometime in the near future but doesn't know much about HRT:

1. Does it affect the way your hair grows out or how quickly? I have super thick hair that takes forever to grow out. I got it cut almost three months ago and it barely covers the tops of my ears if I try to comb it down on the side.

2. I know it doesn't affect eyebrows themselves but does it change their position through fat re-distribution? And, is there a way to make them permanently smaller and thinner or do you have to just get used to trimming them all the time?
>>
>>7245200
You can probably start at 25mg cypro unless you weigh a lot. 25mg completely nuked my t levels after a month, and the less cypro you have to take the better
>>
>>7247300
I've a bmi of 17.5~
I dunno there are so many contradictory reports about cypro dosage :s
>>
are cone tits an actual, avoidable thing, or simply a tranny meme and natural part of tit development?
>>
>>7245424
Keep taking 50mg until your T levels fall within the female range, then it should be okay to reduce to 25mg
>>
>>7248086
yes/no
true 'conetits' are tubular breasts, which are rare in transitioners under 25 but fairly common past that threshold
due to the average age of transition here being so low, one can expect very few of the women here to have tubular breasts
what's more commonly called 'conetits' are breasts at tanner stage 2 or 3, which when newly formed can look kind of cone-like (like any breasts they will droop with age, though this can be alleviated with a properly fitted bra). almost all adult cis women are tanner 5, but trans women will very rarely reach tanner 5 unless they start hrt at <20 (though there are a lot of people starting hrt at <20 on this board) and even then there's no guarantee. more common for the age of transition around here is 3 or 4. they also take several years to develop to that point, usually around 2-3 but can be 5+. most of the women here who bitch about their 'conetits' are relatively early on hrt and impatient. besides, tanner 3/4 tits are cute.

of course, valerate and hemihydrate are just different forms of delivering medication, it will still be estrogen

It will have effects, though for most people it won't be enough to get your levels safely into the female range (you never really know without a blood test). No reason not to take them together, at whatever time. The doses are too small to be worth splitting up.
