Is pansexuality a meme?

Yes. They're just bisexuals who insist on being extra-special.
>>7119790
it's bisexual for people who think bisexual excludes trans/"non-binary" people

Correction for people who think non binary is real and not special snowflake syndrome

It IS pretty much "bisexual + trannies". So as a tranny, I find it pretty helpful, since plenty of bi people are of course put off by the genital mismatch us trannies offer.

Being attracted to transgirls is straight so yes, it's a meme.

As if pansexuals don't only date AFABs.
"Pansexual" is basically just the PC way of saying "I'm only into cis women, FtMs, and AFAB trenders".

Don't get me wrong, I find it technically useful, but that only because I don't believe it transphobic for say a straight girl being put off by an ftm, for example, so in theory that label makes some semblance of sense. Then again, the same people that use it usually don't think like I do, but would label it transphobic, thus it making no sense why they don't call themselves just bi if they themselves think it's the same. I just ever met one person that identified as pansexual, and she pretty much only went for feminine presenting anything. I think she might have a repressed femboy fetish. But yeah, far cry from "being into everything equally" in practice.
