Both intersex and "transgender" has to do with their sex.

Intersex is when a sex isn't entirely aligned to one sex, but you see mixed features.
Transsexual is when the sex is pretty much uniformly, but doesn't match the brain.

Both of those are technically transsexual, since they go through medical and surgical treatment to alter their sex.

Do you know what a "mind" is? It's not the brain, it's the conscious and unconscious thoughts.
When you say transsexualism is about the "mind", you're saying it's a mental disorder, which developed from social/environmental reasons.

Intersex and transsexual are very closely aligned.
Only that intersex took a distance from transsexual peopl, for selfish reasons (and why you shouldn't support intersex people, or letting them be a part of LGBT).
