I guess that makes sense. Self hate breeds self obsession. So does discontent with your circumstances. Needing to make such a drastic change in your own life can stop you from focusing on the lives of others. Trans people need to find a good balance between helping others and helping themselves.

You can't pour from an empty pitcher. I need to transition to remain healthy enough to be of use to people, but I can't let my transition get in the way of my usefulness to others either. It's not easy to find the sweet spot.

Most trans girls suffer from depression, often hate themselves (an overinflated NEGATIVE opinion of themselves) and feel inferior to everyone.

I know you want to conflate mental disorders together, especially when they both have SOME similar traits (narcissists and trans women both are attention seekers), but please note the definitions of these disorders. A narcissist who hates themselves is a logical contradiction by definition.

While that sounds right, and IS right sometimes, it isn't always the case. Narcissism is often a defense mechanism for crippling insecurity or self-hatred, which is why some narcissists go into a complete tailspin when they receive negative criticism.

I dunno, the trans girl I've dated have been extremely self absorbed. Not in that they think they're awesome, but they obsess over themselves.

Our entire relaitonships were about them having image problems, weird sexual incompatibility, and the only thing that sexually excited one of them was being tied up and looking at herself in the mirror while tied up or wearing gymnast outfits. Sex was all about them wanting to look at themselves.

Some of the worst relationships I've ever been in. I understand they struggle with self-esteem issues, but it dominates their lives. I have a million things I hate about myself but I don't throw it in other people's faces all the time while romanticizing my self-obsessed inner struggle. That said, I wish them the best. We were young so that's no doubt a factor.

Cis females have a huge problem with narcissism, entitlement and histrionic behavior yet no one really calls them out on it because it's socially acceptable for them to be that way due to the fact that bio females are considered intrinsically valuable due to their reproductive biology. There are entire social paradigms constructed for the sole purpose of coddling and appeasing them so that they can pump out healthy babies.
