Saw palmetto binds to DHT receptors, it doesn't actually effect DHT levels.

To be honest I got a lot more relaxed and tolerant of the world after coming out to myself and deciding to transition so that might play a role too.
I also took this drug called LSA a bunch of times since then, and did some meditation, introspective thinking, etc. Basically from that I learned the impermanent and illusory nature of the self and the identity, which helped me to stop a lot of negative thinking and be way more chill.
I say the above as a disclaimer or as other factors that may have changed my mind as well.
But part of it is estrogen as well I think, here is how I feel nowadays:

In addition, it might be possible to use other drugs to counter the specific side effects of ADT without SERM individually. For example SSRIs can have slight improvments in hot flashes, although they can also sometimes induce them:

I think that the phase "mental feminization" is too certain and not neutral enough of a term. As psychiatry typically refers to the mind insofar as it exists in a disease state, while psychology concerns the mind in all of its aspects, then I guess the phase "neuropsychological" effects is a better term, so I will use that instead.
