There's really no reason to put a boy through a lot of gender confusion just because there's a 0.1% chance he's a queer little tranny.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. No one says that we should subject EVERY kid to some "r u boy or a gurl?" sick game (like pic related). Literally all that needs to be done is not to force them "be a man" or "be a girl", let them choose their own toys, do NOT discourage them if they indeed start acting "queer", do not shy away from sex education, help them learn to defend themselves from bullies, teach them self-defense and if they still turn out trans then just get them on hormones because only then you will know they are the real deal and not some clueless champ who's about to destroy his reproductive system for a bit of sexual thrill.

It really would be nice if there were a legitimate and believable logical and at least somewhat objective scientific explanation for the idea that any male could have anything akin to a "female brain" with the only truly viable treatment being to alter the body chemistry in attempts to match the brain.

It'd also be nice to be able to just get a fucking MRI that will be able to tell you with a modicum of accuracy what your potential risk factor for becoming whatever Bruce Jenner is.

Just to go in, get a scan, get the report that says "nah man, your brain isn't female-typical or anything, it's just some psychological shit that you can probably work through if you try hard enough" would give people enough hope that maybe a series of expensive elective medical procedures aren't the only fucking option and allow for more creative and meaningful self-assessment without pro-trans propaganda pushing people towards transitioning.

Or even the opposite, a scan that says "yes, your brain is female-typical and the best we got for that is HRT" would just wash away all kinds of doubts and fears and stress and just make it that much more meaningful to actually go for the transitioning process.

Some kind of legitimate scientific understanding would be really nice to have is what I'm saying. Real fucking tired of webMD self-medders pushing a pro-transition narrative when it probably isn't even the way to go for 90% of people.

Where did this narrative even come from, that trannies are all in denial about being ill? Of course they're ill, that's why they desperately seek medical treatment and fight tooth and nail to get it. In addition, I recently read in some study that this stat decreases dramatically if the question specifies a suicide attempt with a genuine desire to die. So a lot of people answer 'yes' to a flat question of attempt, when really they were more in 'cry for help' territory, or possibly even 'wanted to so strongly that I'll count it' territory.
I don't remember the study, but it was in the 'strengths and limitations' section.

And yeah, that's still really bad for so many people to get to that point, but let's not paint too bleak a picture for the younguns.

A transgender person in satisfying their feelings is only directly impacting themselves. How people react is not under their control and they can not be held responsible for that.

Feeling disgust for someone having sex with a child is justified because an innocent party is wronged.

Feeling disgust for a transgender person altering their body to make themselves more comfortable is not justified because no other party is being affected.
