Nothing wrong with that. I mean I'd rather spend my life doing something I actually want to do than aim for the riches. Because of my family background I've seen way too many families that are ruined by money. It's hell of a pressure to just keep up the family wealth as it is, much less to actually try to earn more because you're afraid to lose the family fortunes.

Also one of my friends committed suicide. She was from a very well off family, but she was also the unhappiest person I knew. Standards story; her old man was more worried about family honor and reputation than about the well being of his children. The mother was a home mother with nothing to do. Be sure to read Slaughterhouse 5 by Vonnegut. It's one of my favorite quick reads. I indulged myself recently and read Wintergirls. Felt some feels. Reminded me of my anorexic days and exercise bulimia. Well written for what it is. A Girl is a Half Formed Thing was one fucky read. Definitely not easy, but very interesting. Look into em if you want to read some interesting looks into other people's minds.

Only read the first ten pages of Jerusalem but I'm digging it so far. Always loved dense writing. If you read it fast and happen to have a wide enough vocabulary it paints an incredibly vivid picture. I know he goes through some different writing styles in the book, but right now it's all purple prose bordering on indigo.

Books are fun.
