I'm 21 and I haven't started testosterone at all, because of my voice being so squeeky I haven't been able to makes friends in-game, until yesterday. I played with them again a second time today, and I'm questioning whether or not this is even a good idea...
These guys thinks I'm a teenage boy like them and I never pass that well in RL, but it's working now, and we kickthe other teams ass, and it's just so fun to play with other people. I mean, I don't even have friend in my day to day life, and this feels really low of me.
If I was a bio-guy I would instantly be labelled as a pedo, wouldn't I?? How is this any different??
We've only played twice, so there's no deep meaning, but I'm actually desperate for human interaction outside of family...
WHAT DO?!

it's not even kind of weird for a 21 year old to be friends with teenagers dude, don't worry
though i do wonder if delayed emotional development is disproportionately common amongst trans in general and ftms in particular, especially ones who had a delay between coming out and starting t. i'm barely 18 and could only start t shortly before my birthday despite coming out at 13, and i still pretty much relate to myself as a 14 year old. even my 13 year old brother and i have a lot of the same friends, though we live in a smaller town so it's not that weird. but even when that delay is nonexistent, i wonder if the fact trans guys tend to look so young makes us act and feel younger too.
It's not weird for a 21 year old to be friends with a teen online. Irl, yeah, but online? When I was a teen most of my online friends were adults. Parents fear adults online but most are not gonna harm their kids, they just wanna talk about video games and comics too.
I recommend telling them your age. You're gonna just make it seems like you're a perv if they learn later.

if it's just in video games/online and you don't meet in real life, don't worry about it. if you were dmab that wouldn't make you a pedo either.
OP here:
If I tell them my age, I'm gonna get misgendered, there's no 21 year old who sounds like a squeaky toy :(
Nothing wrong with being his friend to be honest, as long as you don't do anything sexual. Playing videogames with minors is perfectly legal. Don't mention anything sexual or share any porn with them and you're golden.
Not a bad thing for the kid as long as he still has friends of his same age, and if he didn't, I'd say having someone a few years older beats having no one.
What games do you play?/timezones are you in? Maybe we could play together too if you want.
Op again:
The only game I own is Overwatch, nothing else seems to catch my interest

i considered putting a picture of leafy here but decided against it
you don't have to tell them but if you did you could claim delayed puberty with some kind of mild intersex condition or something
I'm on console too, the chances of playing with adults in low

If you're OP and are answering to me, I also play Overwatch but I'm afraid I do it on PC

>If I tell them my age, I'm gonna get misgendered, there's no 21 year old who sounds like a squeaky toy
you might have a point with this, im mtf and people online tend to assume im 12 or something unless they add me on skype and see my gender is female
they will probably think youre a girl if you say youre 21
