Hello Legbutts

I am at a point in my life in which I am looking to preserve my semen before I undergo hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to transition from male to female.

I am not sure when I will find the right conditions in my life to have an offspring, currently I am 25, and wish to have children sometime in the next decade.

One of my first steps has been to set a 10 year budget for banking sperm.

Has anybody had experience in this department, or know someone who has?

This can be a fertility preservation thread for males, females, or anybody in between to have related discussion or share links on the topic =]

I tried, my local sperm bank wanted me to deposit 800$ + taxes and pay something like 200$/year to preserve it.. oh well sorry mama

that's actually pretty cheap. i was under the impression that it would be around two grand and three hundred a year to store..

you can't afford an initial one grand for the first year and 200 a year after? no offense anon, but come on. if you really wanted biological offspring you couldn't even put a price on that.
