I hear domestic abuse is rampant amongst gay and trans couples but it's even less talked about than amongst straight couples. So, let's talk about abuse. You ever been in an abusive relationship or known anyone in one?

>is rampant amongst gay and trans couples
No it's not. It's way more common among stright couples. Next question.

Yes, I have been in abusive relationships. Yes, I know people currently in them. It's pretty common.
Don't be afraid to leave if the relationship is getting abusive. Leave early and leave often, or you'll regret it later.

The only physically abusive relationship I have been in was with an ftm that started hormones midway through (he already presented as male before hand, and looked either like a dyke or a 13 year old boy) . That relationship became all kinds of fucked up.
Before and after that I have never had another partner *physically* abuse me, be they trans or cis women, or cis men.
My bf and I are possessive of each other it's pretty fun. I'm literally yandere tier and he's the 'you have no one else' kind of person so we work together well.

Been in several relationships (I'm a lesbian) but only one was abusive. It was with a professional golfer. It started out nice, then became controlling and ended up her chasing me with a golf club.
