I'm somewhat of a hopeless romantic and always hate to see love end, but if you can't put up with it anymore then it’s time to end it as soon as possible. I've been on the receiving end of someone milling about, being vague, and leading me on towards the end. It hurts even more when you delay it. Even if you no longer want to be with your partner, even if you don't love them anymore, I think it would be kind to do that much for them. You're not a teenager and don't need to play games. Yeah the problem is just that we are currently living together so keeping it copacetic is the goal. I told him I'm moving out and all that jazz it's just rough and confusing. This was my first relationship and it was pretty hard for me. He cheated on me and it hurt a lot, worse when I tried to give him a second chance he did nothing. It kinda puts into perspective our relative importance, I love him a lot but my grandma told me "One day you are gonna wake up, look at the person you married and realize you don't love them. I’m sorry to hear about what happened. I got out of a relationship a couple months ago, and it, too, was my first. I met him when I was 17 and it was broken off at 21. It’s weird to spend what feels like so long building your life around someone, sure it will last, and then realizing you’re back at square one. Even harder when they’re your first. I have a difficult time wondering how I’d act in other relationships because I’ve spent 4 years acting one way. It became habit, but I woke up at 21 and realized I had to rebuild my life on my own. That’s both scary and exciting I think. Smash is up there as well as Majora’s Mask. I can’t tell you how glad I am you’re not a OoT or LttP fanboy. The original Dark Souls is by far my favorite, and II and III follow closely behind. Portal 2 and Space Station Silicon Valley are close to my heart for sentimental (see: useless) reasons. Lately my friends have been getting me to play more co-op oriented games with them; L4D2, Overwatch, League of Legends. I think we generally dislike the games but commiserating helps us bond. I’m not so dull to not find enjoyment in something I don’t think is necessarily good so long as it is with friends.

Fuck you got me here. Catch 22 was a riot to read, but I never finished it. The Metamorphosis is another fiction novel I liked. Chemistry is my favorite subject too, for what that’s worth. Ultimately, I don’t like shying away from topics that might make me uncomfortable. There’s a queer sort of pleasure to be found in the confusion you get when confronted with something you had not yet considered.

My qt boyfriend didn’t like muscles so I had less incentive to go to the gym and I’m trying to get back to that, but I’m cursing myself for all the time lost. I really want to read more and commit myself. I always enjoy it so much when I do but I can get lazy. There are so many issues I don’t feel I’m knowledgeable enough on and I need to learn more and come to some definitive conclusions. Ignorance is, after all, a vice. So many books to read so little time, I figured out that I can do math homework and listen to an audiobook at the same time. Listening to one book and reading another is doable but gives me a headache after ~30 minutes. You should learn to speed read, it's super useful.

I'm not patriotic in the least, I was born in a place and that's about it. I got lucky that my parents could feed me and house me but the actual government holds no real appeal to me. Good choices! I like OoT and LttP but I just feel like Majora's Mask was better developed and more unique/interesting then OoT. I still haven't beaten Dark Souls, trying to play it on a computer is too irritating for me the controls are super finicky. LFD2 is fun but overwatch is too pricey for me and LoL lost its luster when it started castrating its story and unique characters for mainstream appeal.

I'm bad with history, like really bad. I am terrible with memorizing names and dates so I'm bad about scheduling and remembering peoples names too. Yeah trying to listen to politics nowadays is a slog through people screaming memes and anger. I figured long ago that politics wasn't my thing, could have been cause I know I got the charisma and argumentative manipulative part for it but it'd just make me a sad person. I liked Kant's take on ethics although the Feminist Ethics theory is actually quite interesting and utterly separate from the Feminist movement in its formulation. Yay! Chemistry is what one of my degrees is in, I love that feeling when I have something utterly baffling in front of me yet I can sense on the edges of my mind an order to it. I spent an entire day staring at sand moving in the wind on some dunes to try and figure out how air moves.

That's good, working out is good for the soul and body. I fell out of exercising cause my BF was kind of a slob so I just put my effort into school. Started exercising again a couple weeks again and I feel so sore, my first work out I could barely run a mile and a half. Now I got my stamina rising again but it's hard and I'm only able to workout for like 1.5 hours before I get tired. Good thing I got peasant genetics so I get strong quick and will be able to get back to what I used to do for my work outs again.It's good to work at learning, one can never really learn enough. What is the motivation to work in politics? Good to reach out to friends in times such as yours, I tend to a little to empathetic. I get wrapped up in how others feels and it hurts me frequently. Specially cause I'm a security guard for low income housing.

I enjoyed OoT as well, but never got around to LttP. I originally beat DS on PS3 but I've got it on steam now. I haven't had any issues using a Xbone controller, even without DSFix. OW is pretty expensive, yeah, and imo I think LoL champions (particularly updated GP) are a lot of fun now. I much prefer spectating the e-sports scene, however.

Catch 22 was hilarious. I'll be reading it again this semester for my WWII lit class. I did read the Demonata series. I had to order the final book from the UK when it came out during high school. Classes that I need to read for are WWII lit and Professional writing. Most of the essays come from a compilation by Joyce Carol Oates. Aww, cmon! You don't like the rise of republicanism in Europe, the renaissance, or the enlightenment? How about how much of a mess the sack of Constantinople was! History gets a lot more fun when characters are introduced.

Sure, but I find it super fascinating. There is no fiction more exciting and compelling than our own history. Politics might be messy, but its sort of necessary. I do not want to work in politics, merely get involved in state and local elections to determine who I think is the best candidate. I get what you mean about LttP, it was a doozie to finish. I need a gamepad for my computer, I was using keyboard and mouse. They are fun but I used to play Karma and Soraka and the like. They sort of just took out the unique parts to make a new champion entirely. They could have made a new character but instead they just gutted an old one. That on top of changing the cannon to remove interesting stories bothered me, I guess I'm just a grump who iked warcraft 3.

It was pretty funny, but also very very sad. I should reread that series, was very good to me. What's professional writing like? I don't think I've read anything from Oates. Not gonna lie but no, knowing the people makes me care less somehow. I find ancient America fascinating in part because so few things were known about the actual people. Instead its a focus on the actual culture and how it developed technology with little to no starting materials. I guess I like the mystery around it.

That's a good idea, I think all three are fascinating. I'm trying to go for a Ph.D program in Biophysics cause I want to work on modeling cellular systems. Why do you want to teach?

Its tedious. And I'm sorry if I didn't make it clear, but Oates simply compiled what she considered to be the most important American essays of the 20th century. The essays are not authored by her. I can see the appeal of the mystery, but I think the point of history is to recall and discover important ideals that might help us soothe our ills today. Unfortunately, the luxuries of modernity have done little to bring us comfort and happiness.

Sounds pretty interesting. I'd like to teach because in my home science education is handled incredibly poorly. Teachers are allowed to supplement "controversial" scientific topics like evolution with outside materials. I believe this to be a serious affront to education. The science education act that allows this serves only to harm our students and set them up to fail. That's the most glaring issue I see, but there are plenty other. Also because I just find the subject interesting and like to share what I know with others.

You are right on many many points. Modernity has brought us much comfort it's just perceived as being less happy because our access to information inundates us with all sorts of things that make us sad that a simple peasant would never even knew existed.

That's cool, try and fix what was done poorly for you. There's a lot of concepts that need to be reworked in how they are taught and with the level of certainty they are presented in scientific education. And biophysics really is, I could talk all day about the nature of the cell and how it's actually a gel and etc. etc.
