What are some gay stereotypes that are true IRL?
>>
All of them, sadly.
>>
All of them are true for someone, but that doesn't mean any of them are true for specific individuals.
>>
>>6734397
They like men.

I know it's hard to believe, but it's true. Stereotypes exist for a reason.
>>
>>6734397
That gay men eat peanut butter from the anus of an otter to practice rimming.
>>
From personal experience, a lot of the gay men I've known are very artistic, have immaculate and well decorated homes, like cooking, etc.

As for as fellow lesbians go, I know a lot to be very nurturing and into new age things. A lot of the trans people I know work in STEM.

Not saying these are true for everyone, but just from what I've observed in my life.
>>
I mean, all of them are true with some individuals. The most common one I see is the type of media they seem to like.
>>
>>6734397
having sex with men
>>
>>6734894
>trans people in STEM
what the fuck is up with this, I've noticed this to
>>
>>6734397
i listened in to a group of transkids and they were talking about anime and manga
>>
>>6734756
I have found it true that lesbians like eating pussy and gay dudes like sucking dick

Wildest facts
>>
gay/bi men: Youtubers, chefs, restaurant owners, real estate agents, web design, architecture, event planners, corporate law, stylists, concierge, high end store salesmen, acting, art galleries

Lesbians: social workers, special Ed teachers, PE teachers, charity directors, police officers, mommy bloggers, college professors, pediatricians, professional sports, contractors/construction, private chefs, animal rescue workers

trans: almost always STEM or bloggers
>>
>>6735829
lmao my lesbian has been four of those
>>
>>6735884
*my lesbian AUNT
>>
>>6735884
lesbians tend to have a lot of jobs, I've noticed, especially volunteer jobs.
>>
>>6735785
Because they're straight autistic men
>>
>>6735829
>PE teachers

So true I'm laffin.
>>
Seriously whats up with trans people in STEM?

First person I've seen that actually had a surgery is at my new workplace, as programmer.

(S)he is ugly as fuck and doesn't pass at all, I could tell from the first moment. Maybe it's because of all the trannies I saw online
>>
Bi/pan people always go for an art degree but then drop out after they realize they're shit at art.

trans men, even straight trans men always end up hanging out with women more once they realize how fucked up and toxic male culture is.
>>
>>6735996
there are two types of trannies

- feminine gay faggots turned divas that want to be fucked by straight men
- "straight" agp fetishists that get off on crossdressing and jerk off to shemale porn

the former kind flocks on tumblr and pursue beauty related/art carreers. STEM trannies are the latter
>>
>>6735996
STEM is very escapist
>>
>>6736021
>Straight tranny
>Refuse to get a job because I want to dedicate time to practicing my music
>Think computers are boring and hard to understand

fuck ur stereotypes mane
>>
>>6736049
when i said straight i meant straight men, as in someone attracted to females

trannys that claim they are straight women are actually gay fags, hence falling into the first category

>I want to dedicate time to practicing my music
>pursue beauty related/art carreers
there you go
>>
>>6734397
stereotypes aren't true, otherwise they'd just be called traits
>>
>>6736085
nah bro
fags are just repressed trans women and straight men are just repressed trans lesbians
>>
>>6736085
I knew that anon. And I'm a tranny who's attracted to women, and I don't work so I have more time to dedicate time to practicing my musical abilities.
>>
there's a stereotype that all LGBT people think that their kids are gifted and enroll them in all these crazy programs and I hope that's not me one day
>>
>>6735829
>gay/bi men: design, acting, art
ain't that the truth
>>
>>6735952
>be cis lesbian
>i do volunteer work a lot, especially now in the summer

idk man
>>
>>6736142
that's a wasp stereotype but it works for lgbt as they gain wealth and education
>>
all gay men name their daughter Lily

> not even joking

>I don't know a gay couple who has kids who doesn't have a kid named lily
>>
>>6736421
I was planning on a masculine Latin name with two/three middle names, regardless of the gender.
No offence to Lilys, but that's a really boring name.
>>
>>6734397
All gay stereotypes are true.
>>
>>6735999
>trans men, even straight trans men always end up hanging out with women more once they realize how fucked up and toxic male culture is.
> want to be a man but all male things are gross and mean ; ((((
trans "men"
>>
>>6736038
Sorry for this but what is STEM ?
>>
>>6736490
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths.
Basically the best subjects in the world; objective, emotionally detached, logical, and non-judgmental... I'm not even trans...
>>
>>6736541
...just autistic....
.....
...
>>
>>6736542
Y-yeah...
Was it that obvious?
>>
What's with LGBT people being STEM prodigies?

I'm gay, but am terrible at any kind of mathematics or hard science, and much prefer history and literature. However, most gays I ever met excelled at STEM: my ex- was a programmer who was studying physics for fun, the homo in my urban administration class was actually a CIS geology major, all the homos that ever post here who have jobs or are in uni. are either researchers or working in mathematics-intensive occupations, or studying majors like chemistry, physics, biology, and engineering or computer science.

I feel stupid

;___;
>>
>>6736559
Is this a thing?
I was (to my knowledge) the only gay in all of my STEM classes. My only non-STEM class (Spanish) was about 1/4 LGBT.
Not to mention, I went to my schools LGBT student group a couple of times and I was one of the only two STEM students there (and the only one in the top 5 for each of my courses).
STEM's always been a very hetero thing where I'm from. I wish there were more gays there, though; acquirement of husbando would be so much more easy.
>>
>>6736559
>>6736592
not true. gays have feminized brains so they tend to go towards humanities, art and beauty(fashion, hair, makeup...)

psychology is totally female dominated and of the few men majoring in psychology, at least 50% are gay
>>
>>6735999
> Toxic male culture.
Go back to your safe space, faggot. 4chan isn't for retards
>>
>>6734397
gay men have larger penises according to wikipedia
>>
>>6736678
>gay men REPORT to have larger penises
fixed

of course being even more cock obcessed than most men, gays are even more likely to exagerate
>>
>>6736592
typically it's trans people from my experience. LGB's tend to go into arts/humanities
>>
>>6735999
Bullshit. If male culture is toxic and retarded, so is female culture. But I'm a STEMfag ftm, maybe that's just the autism .
>>
>>6735785
My theory is that since most trans people are social outcasts in high school they become nerds and get interested in stem fields.

Unfortunately I was socially well adjusted so I flunked out of university and my friends alienated me when I came out :^)
>>
>>6736683
>gay men would exaggerate their dick size more than a straight man would
lol
>>
>>6736729
he is absolutely right
>>
>>6736559
I'm majoring in human biology and plan to attend med school. All of my study partners are /lgbt/
>>
>>6736541
Thanks to you non trans man
>>
>>6736559
I'm majoring in civil engineering yet I've never met another lgbt person within my university's school of engineering. What >>6735829 has said is 95% true in my experience.
>>
>>6735785
It's like with those frogs that change sex to balance the population. There are so few females they end up becoming female.
I know from experience, because I crossdress and stuf and have a lot of dysphoric thoguths. Whenever I've been around a lot of females I just don't feel like being a girl. It happens when I've had no social interaction or male-only interaction for a while. I have several theories, ranging from pheromones and testosterone levels to just sexual deprivation, porn/fictional girls, and the need to be around females even if you have to become the female yourself.
"But I was trans before getting into STEM!". Maybe but I think most become trans because of the prison gay effect.
Also it might be more apparent that you are more girly than other guys if all you see is guys. If you compared to lots and lots of girls constantly you would not feel so girly be it on the outside/inside.
And let's not forget that people with the intelligence to get into STEM actually think about things like this and are smart enough to come up with a plan and do it. Dumber people would just go with the flow.

Source: me being in STEM
>>
>>6735785
I'm not sure where I saw it, but I think it's been proven that STEM fields have a significantly higher density of trans people than other fields.
>>
>>6736559
I have my degree in chemistry and I only ever met 2 other gays in my program, both dropped out though.
Maybe bio might get more since there's more females, but even chem is like 40% female and still barely gets any gays so I highly doubt there's very many gays in the more male-dominated sciences like physics and engineering.

I think you're getting a distorted picture because gay STEM people tend to hangout on the internet on places like reddit and 4chan whereas most 'normal' gays won't know of these places or have any desire to come on here since they have other methods of socializing.
>>
>>6735785
They are straight autistic men with a confused sense of identity. As another anon said in this thread
>>
>>6736021
Hey now. SOme of us just want to be fucked by straight men. We aren't necessarily divas about it
>>
>>6736098
A lot of fags would choose to be women if you gave them a chance. Being a gay male is pretty far down on the social totem poll. Even the "im so fabulous and happy" gays are often burying mild depression that their entire being is a contradiction of aspect, their manly gross bodies with their womanlike behavior and dispositions. They would have been much better off being born cute girls and have their femininity match their bodies.

Transbians just make no sense though.. Its clearly some kind of disorder or emasculinization mental disorder
>>
>>6736488
Basically. They aren't actually men most of the time. They are girls who want to be "boys". Its funny that they try. I mean even large percentages of the male population completely fail at being men and projecting traits society values in men. So I guess you can't be too harsh on ftms for totally failing as well.

But instead of failing gracefully they try to redefine what a man is and how he acts even though we all know how real men act because its been engrained in us biologically and socially
