Been practicing for about 9 months at this point, never used it with anyone in person because I'm too self conscious about it. I'd like to at least know if I'm heading in the right direction, to me it isn't really where I'd like it to be.

Shit is happening in my life super fast right now and I'm being forced to go full time in like a week. I've gotten almost no practice and am using the larynx trick.

I think you sound alright. It's obviously not perfect but for how little practice you've actually gotten it's pretty good.

The way you're going to refine it the most is by being forced to use it literally all the time, which means you aren't going to pass to some people starting out which is fine.

It feels really weird at first, and like it's impossible, but you can control the muscles in your throat and move your larynx around. You want to move it up and back, and naturally your pitch and resonance should raise as well.

I'm hoping it doesn't have any glaring faults as a technique, and perhaps "normal" voice training is still needed or something, but it's at least gotten me where I am really fast. Which isn't a ton, but it's something.

I'm >>6705939 and have been using that app since I started. I think it's a good way to monitor your pitch, but pitch isn't everything. I used it about once a week and at this point I can get into the female range on command rather than having prep time.

Whatever autistic trick you think you're using isn't working. You're way up in the micky mouse range and then every other syllable you drop back into male range. It's also got this strange scratch to it and your pitch is everywhere. The thankyou.wav at the end is a MIDI clip more than your speaking voice. 3/10

How do I work on this? The people I know irl always berate me when I attempt to up the pitch. I've been trying to practice in maintaining resonance in my head more than the throat or mouth as well. I also know my inflections when I drop lower go into male range.
