Having all kinds of feeling, even regret and guilt, is normal, however, look into yourself and ask whether you feel guilty because of your upbringing, because someone said that being gay in wrong and not acceptable. If that is the case, know that a lot of our upbringing is based on centuries old ideas of human existence, some of them severly outdated and irrelevant.
Speaking from experience, you might want to talk to people, who went through the same process you are going through right now. Believe me, we're out there. ;)
Reach out to LGBT forums, groups etc. Talk it over with people and see what they have to say. I would bet you will get a lot of questions answered and new questions will arise.
Secondly, about coming out - there are no rules. First come to terms with yourself, then if you feel like it, tell others about it. Or don't tell them. If you do decide to do it, do it because you want to do it, not because others want you to do it. I did it and have had positive reactions from most people. Some people do it and they are faced with hell from their loved-ones. So, one step at a time... There's no rush. ;)
Remember, what you are feeling and experiencing is the same path millions of us went through. And trust me, it gets better one step at a time after getting to know yourself and accepting your reality.
Talk to people who've been in your shoes, think about what they say and talk some more. :)
