It's social conditioning derived from the concept of masculinity? Masculinity is something you have to uphold and defend constantly as a man, and being intimate with another man goes against that.

You'll notice that in more homophobic/sexist societies men are more physically close with each other, for example Latino and Middle Eastern men are super physical to the point where Americans and Europeans construe their behavior as gay. Asian schoolboys regularly hold hands. But all this is because in these societies homosexuality is so taboo that it's not even considered a possibility, and no one knows an out gay person, men are allowed to be physically intimate with each other without fearing condemnation.

This is just a thing you see in movies and tv. Most straight women have no interest in being with another girl. I think there was a study or something that showed than number of college girls who experiment is only like 3% or something. You just see it more on tv and movies because it's considered "hot" for men.

Those women are not straight. Truly straight women would be repulsed by the thought of having sex with another woman.

I like someone who is bisexual. I'm gender fluid,queer, mostly into women but if I like someone I like them, and though this idiot, pisses me off sometimes,I still like them.
