Yes because I was a dumbass that was desperate to please. Now I'm 26 and have had HIV for 3.5 years. It hasn't had major health effects since it was caught early with regular tests and I don't really have mental hangups over it in my daily life, but dating is tougher and I anticipate that will suck a lot if/when I ever put more focus on that category.

Don't take bare dick from strangers.

I have taken anonymous loads in Tampa and Key West as well as Orlando.
I hate condoms. Not afraid of aids.
>>
>>6635067
What does taking a load feel like

ew...just...ugh
>>
>>6635067
You realize that you are going to contract HIV right? How come you're not worried at all?
>>
Well, never from a stranger, only with a guy I knew. I just took his word on being clean though, I had a test shortly afterwards.

I don't really regret it, though I wouldn't ever do it again, to me there was hardly any perceptible difference in how it felt, certainly not worth risking.

are you kidding?

I did for the first time last Monday. Biggest mistake ever, I should have said no right after the person said no to putting on a condom. I was high unfortunately.

I got access to PEP within 14 hours , so I am likely fine. I am currently on my 10th dose of Truvada and Tivicay, so once I go about 18 more doses I'll likely be fine. PEP has only really been known to fail if you miss doses, continue to engage in risky behavior or if you access medication after 48 hours from initial exposure.

I have experienced no big side effects as of yet. I have blood tests set up, for 2 weeks , 6 weeks, 2 months, and 6 months away. I had no drug plan, so I shelved out $1600 in Canada for this stuff.

However, this has become the most stressful month in my life, and I will never do it again. I hate being bi and I hate how normal relationships have been so hard for me the past several years. I met with someone on okcupid who said they were hiv- but I have a hunch they are an escort that I couldn't trust.

If anyone has questions feel free to ask. Never make a choice based on a bad mental state.

Stupidly barebacked with two guys. Both I thought I was in an exclusive relationship with.

First guy we used condoms for about three months but he was having a hard time maintaining an erection so we agreed not to use them. A week later he gave me Chlamydia.

Fast forward about 10 years and I'm in another "exclusive" relationship with an older bottom guy. I'm using condoms with him but now I have a problem getting hard. He had said in the past that he trusts me and didn't need to use them. In the heat of things on day I pull it off and go in bare. Few days later I see his ad (same one I responded to) on craigslist and it says "posted three weeks ago" on it.

Went out and got tested and have always used condoms since then.

As for how it feels, you get used to them. I view anal as more of a dominance thing and like using condoms with bumps and ridges so the bottom really feels it.
>>
On a weekly basis, typically. Favorite bar has a dark room. So I'll have drinks with all my friends, go take a piss, stop off in the dark room to fuck someone in a jock posted up in the corner, and head on home. Never had an STD.
>>
Yeah I've took some stupid risks in my time, I'm very surprised I never caught HIV. When I first started meeting guys I went through a extreme slutty phase of just getting fucked on the daily, condoms rarely used. Even since that phase has been over I've met strangers in the street and had them inside me minutes later. Every time I have sex tends to be with a different person. Being intoxicated makes it less likely to ask them to wear a condom, it ruins the moment.

Being a shameless whore lost its appeal though, thankfully I escaped unscathed.

Please just get AIDS and die

You probably already have it.

You people are the reason gay guys deserve to be hated.

Fucking this.

This thread is disgusting and reinforcing stereotypes that conservatives constantly bash us with

This.

I am the guy on PEP, and it's ridiculous how stupid some people are about these things. I have been reading about those whom HIV preventive treatment fails, and almost all of the time it is because people keep fucking random people despite being on meds or taking breaks.

HIV forums have honestly the clingiest posts I have ever seen for the most part. I cannot believe some of the stuff I read, which contributes to the seemingly wish washy numbers we get on anti viral success rates.

I honestly feel disgusting for taking such a stupid risk, and it really disturbs me how people don't really seem to care about their own health.
>>
>>6636342
>tfw I was on the verge of posting this thread to /pol/ and saying you were right about us.
>>6636404
On TV there was this one person who stopped bothering to take the meds halfway through because it made him ill. I mean yeah it makes you feel like shit but the alternative is fucking AIDS. Do gays have no restraint and forward thinking whatsoever?
>>
>>6635266
You have no idea how human psychology works have you?

People drive cars every day, even though it's incredibly dangerous. We simply don't process the risks until it's too late.
>>
>>6636460
Yeah but most people are clever enough to wear a seatbelt.
>>
>>6636318
Yeah because ANY MAN isn't like this.
If a woman comes onto almost any man and says no condom he will be like, well NO madam I will not fuck you then! GOOD DAY TO YOU!

They would have their dick up her fuckhole so fast they would ignite the atmosphere.

Sorry this isn't a gay issue, it's a man issue.
>>
>>6636471
I don't think you understand how dangerous driving or being a passenger is, you know how many people die every year due to cars?

Seatbelts are only gonna save you from injuries in a minor bump, most of the time you're gonna be buried if you have a crash. Seatbelt or not.
>>
>>6636483
Is it really that bad because I figured it was. I had one lesson doing 10 mph and immediately I thought "fuck this, this is a deathtrap" Can't comprehend trying to control a giant metal box at 70 mph. I thought I was just being a pussy though?
>>6636473
Stop making excuses and accept that gays need to try harder due to the extra risk they face
>>
>>6636473

Sure and 9 months later you have to pay child support for the next 18 years. A woman rejecting condoms is fishy as fuck.
Deal with it, straight people are much more in control of their sexual urges.

Driving a car when you're new to it is very scary, this comes from me doing it after riding bikes for four years prior too it.

Once you've done it for a while it is ridiculously easy, soon you'll develop muscle memory and won't realise you're changing gear and what not.

Stick at it buddy, these days a car licence is pretty essential, it opens a lot of doors to new opportunities too.

What I did was buy a car and insure it as a learner and drive it around. I did a lesson after doing that for a month and my instructor said I don't need any lessons I should go for the test. Passed first time man, two minors I could have avoided by being calmer, apparently "standard-setting driving" yeeee.
>>
>>6634775
Only one guy who had a really unique situation, so the odds of risk were very low with him.
For the past 2 years we've only been fucking each other... Well, I think he's fucked his wife a few times too.
>>
>>6634775
You people know there is a pill you can take now that prevents HIV contraction now ya? Why not just take the ducking pill.... literally!

Protect yourselves ya dumb faggots! AIDS is not a joke nerds

Yeah I'm the same, wonder if this is why I found it so weird. And thanks I'll stick with it, may need it for a job as you say.
>>
>>6636586
Possibly, its a totally different experience to a bike. I went on a pretty big off topic post there but yeah I wanted to let you know you should stick it out.

This.

It's fucked eh? The stuff I am on (Truvada, Tivicay once a day at 11:00/11:30am) - nausea, stomach aches, issues sleeping, dizziness and diarrhea are the most common side side effects. None have bothered me other than diarrhea. I am working more to pay for the hole the meds caused in my savings, and none of the effects have made this difficult. The other issues that doctors scan for are liver problems and kidney problems. This is why the 2 week blood test happens.

So, from what I have gathered it is that unprotected receptive anal with a confirmed HIV+ partner carries an infection rate of 5/1000 (what the hospital told me), or 1/200. The chances are lower if the person has an undetectable viral load, is taking PrEP or are unconfirmed. Taking PEP reduces the chances of infection by about 80%, however there are reasons why this number is this low.

Only about 60-75% people ever seem to adhere to the full medication schedule. Pretty alarming ,IMO - and it explains why the prevention rate is low at 80%.

The reasons PEP fails is usually when 1) you take the meds after the 48 - 72 hour window [if you take them after the 72 hour window, PEP is detrimental] 2) continue to engage in high risk transmission activities [you keep getting fucked by + people during or immediately after the medication window] and 3) stopping the meds like a fucking spineless idiot or forgetting them. It seems as though medication resident strains are rare, and typically when people are flimsy with the medication and do it multiple times half assed.

Doctors accounts online typically say they never have patients on PEP confirm positive unless they do these dumb things. I have only read one account on a website from a doctor discussing a patient who followed all the rules failing PEP, - however he did initiate PEP after 48 hours after fucking a Vietnamese prostitute.

This report greatly cleared my conscience.

Yeah when I was younger I did quite a bit of drugs/alcohol. I think I had bareback sex twice. I've never caught anything thankfully. I've only ever had safe sex since.
Plus back then I was new to sex and was kind of a pushover and I always caved to guys pressuring for sex. Since then I've upped my douchebag game so I'm kind of an ass to people but my relationship and sex life has improved quite a bit because of it. I'm not mean in the traditional sense, but I'm definitely not afraid to tell people to fuck off anymore lol
