Transitioning serves to improve the well being of a person's life but only if they are succesful and pass. Not everyone does and those people are left off worse than when they started.

-Dependent your whole life on synthetic hormones that cause blood clots and cancer
-Permanently sterilize yourself
-Everyone will think you're a freak, you'll probably lose all your friends and family and become an unlovable alien. Even if you pass you'll live in fear of people finding out, and sex partners will always find out
-Blow all your money on incredibly expensive surgeries
-Surgeries are very risky and produce subpar results. SRS especially commonly results in fistula, and even a good result is a poor imitation of a vagina at best
-No sane cisgender person will ever marry you. You'll grow old alone
-You'll never actually be the other sex, just an impersonator doing body modification
It's just incredibly short sighted, if you can read all those points and still say "well I accept all that but I need to be more comfortable in my body XD" then you're mentally unwell and unfit to make large scale decisions about your own future. Probably should be committed for your own protection.
