There's a guy I met at a bar saturday, not a gay bar or a place to hook up or anything, just a regular bar, and we got to talking, and after all that was done our conversation ended up with him offering me money to spend the night with him this friday, he said we didn't have to fuck or anything, that he just wanted company, he was a nice guy, but this feels shady as fuck and I'm not sure it's even legal, it feels like a kind of prostitution, and I'm questioning the moral ground of it too, advice?

I got tons of off vibes the whole time talking to him but I didn't want to be rude and leave, most of what we talked about was dogs and his son, he was talking about how his son is moving away to go to school and he has a dog that he's going to keep until his son gets back but he's not strong enough to walk it without it getting loose and stuff, it really made me feel like he wants a surrogate son or something
