So /lgbt/, I'm kind of hooked up with a friend. He really likes having sex guys, he is never the one being penetrated and he always tells me (even though he knows I like him) that the fact he has sexual relationships with men doesn't make him gay, neither capable of keeping an affectioned relationship with me (because it seems like only a woman could fill in).
I'm kind of lost here. I don't want to disrespect the gender fluidness, neither the diversity of sexual orientations, but the fact that triggers me is how he loves looking at dick pictures and enjoy seeing gay porn and that actually doesn't go beyond that (at least he says so).
Someone care to explain, spoonfeed or whatever because I've already searched that and most of the informations I got were pretty partial and either treated it like a pure lie or almost the extreme and unique "not sick" state of sexuality that men could and should have.

It sounds like you and your friend are 'friends with benefits'. If you can't accept that's all he wants out of the relationship then you need to break it off. You're only going to hurt yourself if you try to pursue a romantic relationship with this guy.

Well, he took my virginity away, so you can have an ideia how much I like him. But here's the deal: we are actually really close friends and everything further than that happened only twice (once it almost happened after we watched a gay romantic film together wtf).
Do you think that I can get over the fact he will never end up with him while still being "friends with benefits"? I'm not dumb enough to depend on him to fulfill my sexual desires, but I do know that it has never been an issue for him to see me the same way as always even after everything.
Also, do you think that it's "slut way of being" is just an image of someone who has stopped understanding the intimacy of sexual relationships? Because he clearly doesn't feel weird or affected in any way by trading nudes with a lot of people he met. It looks to be pretty related to the fact that, for him, being naked doesn't make him feel uncomfortable or too exposed.
