I wish someone had written a review of this item before I bought it.
This is a plastic toy, with a little aluminum here and there.
I doubt it could last long if you intend to travel with records inside.
I know it states it can hold up to 70 LPs. Not really.
MAYBE if you only intend to fill the case with just the vinyl discs.
But normally you might want to include the record sleeve and a plastic protector.
If so, count on maybe 45-50 LPs inside, tops.
So, overall, it's too cheaply made as a traveling case, for shows or flea markets.
The handle, as well as the turning mechanism that opens the case, are both suspect.
It's OK if you just want something nice looking for the home, but look for something cheaper.
I mean, look for something less costly. You won't find anything cheaper than this.

I was 21 when my parents disowned me and my family freaked on them because no one ever did anything like that or kicked their kids out.. Yeah, so far as I've heard things have actually changed considerably since the first wave of "vinyl revival", given I remember it just sort of being an aesthetic, expensive new indie LPs and the like. Now there's a few groups that do record bin sales here, super cheap and loaded up with all kinds of gems.
That said dance music vinyl is sort of its own thing, most stores here really don't carry it apart from a few token albums and EPs, often sealed so you can't listen before buying.
