Yeah, assuming money is no issue, face is not a problem if you can afford FFS. Of course, even with FFS, some people have better results than others depending on your starting point (like, a "longface" can be kind of difficult I think).

As far as the body's bone structure, it all comes down to limits and proportions.

By proportions, I'm talking more about the proportion of the shoulders to the hips. A smaller number is better (so shoulders that aren't super wide compared to the hips). Some women do have an inverted triangle shape, but it's easier to pass without that.

By limits, I mean that above certain measurements, red flags that you're trans may begin to pop up for people. Being above, say, 6'1" in height. Having shoulders beyond 19" or above. Having an abnormally large ribcage.

Basically, if your measurements are reasonable, you'll be fine. And honestly, I'm of the opinion that most MtFs, including younger ones, could use some FFS.

There's no such thing as too old, you don't scientifically reach an age cap whereby hormones just stop working for you.

There are lots of other people out there on tumblr who are in their 40s who are just transitioning; a few manfaces and definitely some hons but some passers too - provided you're not staring at pictures of them trying to pick out their manly features.

The fact is, there's no actual cutoff point it depends a lot on your genetics. If you're the kind of person who is very androgen sensitive and has lots of body and facial hair, it'll be an uphill struggle at 23 compared to someone who looks feminine/androgynous in their 30s, 40s and even 50s - for them, HRT and androgen inhibitors will work wonders, much better than someone half their age.

People forget that the primary reason to transition is because of dysphoria, not because you want to be a kawaii teenage girl. If you'll only settle for being a 10/10 stunner (Probably not gonna happen if you're not a 10/10 male) then you're probably not transgender. If you've really got dysphoria you'll settle for being a plain jane.

Estrogen effects collagen and elastin, but that's it - they don't define the features of your face directly. You're also acting as though men solely have Testosterone and women solely have Estrogen and that these are binary and never change. Hormones can play other roles in skin quality, but once again, it depends on your levels, it depends on androgen sensitivity - it depends on a lot and these are genetic more than anything else.

There are lots of old men out there that look feminine and lots of old ladies that look masculine; just like there is at any age. Typically old men have thinning hair or will at least often have it shorter, so when you look at them you wouldn't associate them with being feminine, but if you singled out just the face, you could give them female hair and they'd look like old women.
