Well there are differences.
Traps are passing crossdressers without hormones.
Femboys are males that prefer feminine looks and clothing. Sometimes with HRT. Looks can vary.
Trannies use hormones and either strife to be women or actually are women. Trannies are haunted by their male past and upbringing, but a sane tranny will see the upside in knowing how to chill around men. Looks vary alot. Some you can't tell whether they're even trans and some look shitty or old. Trannies always go by she and gf.

You best bet is to somehow infiltrate your local tranny community. Go to pride parades or find out where they have their local pub meetings. There's always some pretty trannies there. Many transmen and also be ready for MANY hons. But maybe there's even meetings for exclusively young trans people. In my city there is atleast.

I thought it noteworthy how similar your being disgusted by women is to my own.
