so this, i have a really hot scottish friend and for some reason he just has a generic british accent, its a shame

yeah some Scottish accents are really soft/subtle so they just sound "British". Ewan McGregor's accent is like that.

Scottish yes, Welsh is neither attractive nor unattractive to me, I've never heard an Irish accent that didn't make me want to scratch my ears out.

The only UK accents I can't stand are Southern England and Ireland tbqh
I also don't understand the appeal of an Australian accent either
