Personality does not have gender or sex. What kind of difference saying "I'm a girl", "I'm the third gender" or "I'm a pizza" will make?
Having or not having spects of your personality similar to common social traits of a man or a woman does not define your gender. You're merely a person with certain preferences.
Now I understand gender expression. It's the way people will see you. So if you're male, but want to be seen as a girl, you make your efforts to look like a girl.
If you have a beard, and want your genderfluids friends to think you're a girl, that's fine too. But it's completely fucking stupid a man with a beard demand that completely strange people recognize him as a girl.

I'm not sure what you're getting at, but people are social animals, so why is it so surprising that if a person identifies as certain gender they would also like to be treated as such in social situations?

I completely agree though.
