They only have a 3.5" rise, but 2" platform too. Scary thing is my feet feel better in 2" heals than in flats. It has to do with my St Louis Arches. I actually have an arch on the outside of the foot too.

I wear these more often. I feel comfortable dancing in them. Same heal rise, but only 1/4" sole thickness.

i can see them pulling off a darker Zelda as long as they strike a similar balance of tone with MM, except just make everything... more of itself, you know? have a really dark undertone told partially through world lore, have a quiet frontier/comfy-style feeling for individual events, and the game slowly becomes darker as you reach the endgame

anyway... i'm pretty sure it's post-WW since there's a Korok right near the beginning and while it's kind of ambiguously told in WW, the Kokiri became Koroks likely for the same reason that the Zora became the Rito, as a reaction to the Flood

they also spoke about the lack of "traditional" towns in the Treehouse stream, but that could either mean it's just scattered bunches of people or that towns aren't separate from the overworld and just exist without loading screens... i really hope it's the latter

That can happen, but it takes wearing them a lot. It still does damage to the feet. I've worn my 2" booties out so often lately, I notice hip and thigh soreness if I wear flats to long.

Also I have size 12 feet so a 3.5" rise is like a 2.75" for a size 8. I have a pair of 5" rise heals, and I can dance in them. Still kills my feet after a couple hours. 2" is my sweet spot, but only if shaped right. I think I may start making leather pads and glue them into some more of my heals for arch support.
