Not having a penis doesn't by itself make you not a man. If a man loses his penis in an accident or from an illness, he doesn't stop being a man. Your situation doesn't sound too different.

You don't need a penis to be dominant, if that's your thing. In any case, penetration isn't dominant and being penetrated isn't submissive, those are separate things.

And about not being able to be a girl because you have a Y chromosome, have gone through puberty on testosterone and have a somewhat masculine skeleton, well, that describes almost everyone that frequents this thread as well.

In any case, if you feel like you really want to be one or the other rather than something in the middle then you should consider doing what you can to be more comfortable with yourself, even if you can't have exactly the body you wish you had.
