Was anime the cause of your dysphoria /lgbt/?
Be honest.
>>6343622
>tfw yume will keep pretending he's the pro-trans candidate
Taiyō no ko Esuteban
Don't be stupid anon.
It was video games. RPGs with gender choices fucked me up forever.
>>6343654
This, how could nobody realise something when a little boy is really excited to play as a female?
>>6343657
>"Why are you playing as a girl anon?"
>lol i dunno
>>6343669
...I just don't like to look at a guys ass all day long while playing...
>>6343626
Yume is stupid. I know it's shocking but stupid people post on 4chan in great numbers.

Fucking top kek
>>6343689
If she's a woman why does she have a cock?
>>6343692
She didn't she was a pure waifu I was someone's support magic girl husbando I miss you ;_;
>>6343695
I miss you too.
>>6343670
>tfw trying to make people think you're not trans and also straight and end up making dumb excuses like this
Half the time though I'd just shrug and scream internally.
>>6343689
Why aren't you playing a demonic tranny?
>>6343701
I wrote fucking treatises about why playing the other gender is straight and not any more weird than pretending to be an elf or a wizard. Joke's on me since I turned out to be what I am. The first time I played a woman, at 13, I started shaking. I didn't understand why but I shivered intensely, my heart raced and I felt sick. Yet I felt that I had to push on for some reason.
Thinking back on it, I wonder whether I did it as a kind of virtual crossdressing.
>>6343706
Because NWN 2 is shit.
>>6343719
Playing the other gender is significantly normal for men but more unusual for women. MMO designers have found and theorized about for a long time. Men are also more likely to play monsters than women.
>>6343726
Virtual worlds are really interesting in general. See the Proteus Effect. You have all kind of funky shit like actual straight men playing women acting kinder and taking supportive roles more often.

>>6343689
>tfw you kept trying to find mods for 1st person view while rping a woman
Where do you all play?
>>6343742
Yeah there's a significant portion of people who just do it badly as a cringe-inducing fetish. You can spot them from a mile away because they dress their characters like whores. Nobody liked them on any roleplaying server I went to.
Note that the whole proteus thing is primarily about non-roleplaying mmos.
>>6343706
How did you get my picture?
Delete this.
>>6343654
This.
>>6343622
nah, but i do feel dysphoria at not being an azn gril
>>6343859
i mean...you might be joking but i'm not
>>6343973
Anime was, and really, continues to be, the only thing that ever makes me happy. I dont know any other medium where i can pretend I'm a girl and I'm normal.
>>6343719
>videogames caused me to become trans
>but being a tranny is totally a biological thing that I couldn't control and now if I dont cut my dick off I WILL KILL MYSELF
>>6343996
>being this autistic
>>6343996
Wrote that post .Vidya didn't actually make me trans m8. I just used the medium to pretend.
I want to be kakkoi like Sakaki-chan.
>>6343622
>>6343654
THIS
>hey anon, why are you playing as a girl?
>well would you rather stare at a man's ass all day?
>but you're playing in first person
>mfw
To be honest anime did turn me trans according to my dad
Never understood this meme.
I don't watch any anime except Cowboy Bebop and play only retro vidya. Stil trans desu
>>6343654
but that didn't *cause* dysphoria, right? It just made us aware of it, by giving us the choice. But it had to be there already, or we would have just played males without second thought.
What does it mean if I was turned by an anime heavily influenced by American culture
>>6344198
mclaughed
>>6343622
You'd have to be retarded to let anime let you influence anything you do if you're above 12 years of age. That or socially incompetent to a sad degree.
>>6344198
holy shit
that's me everytime since I found any game where you can pick female characters
exact same rationale
it came to the point of "let's play a male character this time... FOR A CHANGE!"
>>6343654
>tfw vastly preferred playing as a female
>tfw my "friends" and family brutally made fun of me until I switch my chars gender
I'm surprised I didn't try harder to repress my tranny feels.
>>6343654
Dude it depends on the character. Usually I pick rogue and wizard as female, because they look better. A warrior always needs to be a bulky man.
I picked princess peach in mario kart 64 and my justification was that she was lighter and therefore was faster
>>6343622
I think that when we get the choice we get it, it's not a coincidence that most of trans people, even pre-HRT they dream of themself as the desidered sex.
>>6345622
BUT WHY FUCKING ANIME?
This never seems to happen with American cartoons.
>>6345635
It happens with everything. Your limited awareness doesn't mean it doesn't.
>>6345316
>not picking yoshi the cute one who has plausible deniability
yes i ended up gay as fuck
>>6343622
obviously trannies are caused by solar flares just like "climate change" and "solar flares" are just part of the jewish conspiracy to hide the fact that the earth is flat
>>6343622
No but one of the reasons I started watching anime is so I could self insert as the girls.
>>6346341
THIS
>>6343622
Kaneki made me realize I was bi desu
I've known I wanted to be a female even before I got into anime lol
>inb4 it was actually games that let you customize your character
>>6343737
>https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proteus_effect
Yeah this is definitively a thing. I'm not even a big gamer or a tranny, but I remember one MMO in particular I used to play all the time where my main was a female character. I don't want to say I ended up acting "girlier" as a result, but other characters assumed I was a girl and I never corrected them. I'm not sure why really, I don't have dysphoria.
>>6344198
see for me, I just liked playing boy characters so I could stare at *their* asses.
Of course I didn't have friends that I played video games with anyway, so it largely didn't matter whether I played as a boy or a girl, and I knew from a pretty young age that I wasn't a boy anyway.
