I played tennis for a hobby for over ten years, practicing weekly, but I had to stop because I made literally zero progress in that time and it was costing too much to keep having lessons for no reward

I've been trying to learn piano since I was about 13, before uni I'd consistently practice 30-60 mins a day. I've never passed Grade 3.

I've tried model-making, I've tried painting, I've tried video games, I've tried so fucking much but my disabilities prevent me from being good at anything and I just get frustrated and upset.

The only thing that isn't hindered, that I can tell, is creative writing and it's practically the most time consuming hobby there is. I only produce my best writing when I get to write, like, 6-8 hours at a time, that "just write 100 words every day" stuff doesn't cut it for me. When I was in high school I'd spend literally the whole of every holiday just writing 6-8 hours a day, every day of the week. Every evening when I'd come home from school, I'd do the same. It's the only thing that got me through high school but since starting uni I've barely had time to write a single word, and if I end up having to work that's not gonna change.

On the whole I'm defined by my defects and I absolutely loathe it.

Should I bump my e dosage to 8mg at 12 months? it was significantly lower than it should have been at 4mg and I've bumped it up to 6mg since but I'm worried that's only brought me up to 'normal' for 6 months and when I'm well into HRT when most folks would be bumped up to 6mg I won't get that extra boost. is it worth doing? I know on an intellectual level it's technically possible for things to work out for me but on an emotional level it's hard to feel it after a 21-year losing streak.
